Last March, the school year wrapped up with an exciting and hands-on “Community Helpers” theme: bringing children up close with real-life heroes who keep our communities safe, healthy, happy, and moving 👩‍🚒👮‍♂️🚆🩺

They met inspiring community helpers, including police officers, firefighters, a train engineer, doctors, a fashion designer, a massage therapist, and a professional dancer—each sharing their important roles and tools.

(Click on the first 8 pictures for more details about our special guests!)

Many thanks to our visitors for their time and effort, especially our parents Mr. and Mrs. Cruz, Mr. and Mrs. Ramos of Dr. Montano G. Ramos General Hospital, and Mrs. Dayrit of Religioso.

Our 2026 Recognition Day was a Broadway-inspired celebration filled with music, movement, and shining little stars! 🎭✨

From “Getting to Know You” to “Bare Necessities,” “So Long, Farewell,” and “Hakuna Matata,” our learners brought beloved stories to life on stage with confidence and joy. 🎶🌟

Our graduating seniors also took on the role of co-hosts, showcasing how much they’ve grown in reading and speaking. A truly proud moment for all! 🎤 🎓

As they bid their sweet goodbyes, we celebrate not just their performances, but the wonderful journey that lies ahead. 💖✨ More pictures and video to follow soon!

Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉

Before classes resume this Monday, let’s take a look back at our Christmas Program last December 🎄

The children joyfully sang four songs: “Hurry Christmas,” “Ring Those Christmas Bells,” “Baby Jesus We Love You,” and a beautiful medley of “What a Lovely Sight” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” 🎶

After a short and simple tableau re-enacting the Nativity story, the children also surprised their parents with an ornament gift presented on stage. We truly appreciate all the parents and guardians who helped make this event a success—through the beautiful attire, shared food, and exchanged gifts.

It was a simple yet meaningful celebration of faith, family, and community this holiday season 🙏👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 12🎄

A little late for our last day but here's an excerpt from our school website for the introduction to today's album: Children doing Montessori Work during the first semester of this school year!

"Our system allows the child to learn by seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching. The multi-sensorial approach allows children to receive impressions and absorb learning in a powerful way. Thus, the classroom is filled with a wealth of concrete materials that aid in his development.

Numerous research in math, reading and in other areas have validated the value of well-designed concrete materials to teach abstract concepts for pre-school children whose ability to learn from lecture-type situations is limited and unsatisfying.

The world of adult knowledge is not kept off-limits but is presented in a way that is most meaningful to children. The school provides a wealth of activities under each area of learning that can keep children engaged and stimulated throughout his pre-school years.

Moreover, the school continually updates its materials to expand its range of offerings for the children. It has developed Language materials that are being sold to Montessori schools in the US."

Thank you for joining us during these past 12 days!

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 11🎄

The Montessori Christmas tree is a combination of 7 Montessori materials found inside the classroom. The children teamed together making a Christmas Tree for the holiday season. They graded the Red Rods and cubes of the Pink Tower to make into the shape of a triangle and used the Knobbed and Knobless Cylinders as ornaments. Some even used the containers as ”gifts” under the ”tree”!

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 10🎄

The children were able to see the school pet fish 🐟 and experience touching mealworms 🐛, which are the larval form of the yellow mealworm beetle 🪲. The children were so brave, picking up several mealworms at a time! The mealworms kept moving, which is one of the characteristics of a living thing.

Living things, such as people, animals, and plants, can breathe, grow, move, eat, drink, and reproduce. They need air, food, and water to stay alive, and plants breathe through tiny holes in their leaves. Non-living things cannot breathe, grow, move by themselves, or make babies.

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 9🎄

In their exploration of the Kitchen (Rooms in the House), the children learned the names of kitchen tools and appliances, and discussed how to stay safe around hot or sharp objects 🔪🔥.

Then they had a Hands-on Cooking activity 🍳👩‍🍳 where they prepared Sinigang na Bangus! 🐟🍲 With the teacher’s guidance, they added pre-chopped tomatoes, onions, and fish to the pot, along with seasonings. They also helped prep vegetables by snapping sitaw and removing kangkong leaves.

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 8🎄

After the lesson on Living and Non-Living Things, the next topic was Plants 🌱.

Students learned that plants are living things that make their own food using sunlight. They come in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Plants also provide food and oxygen, which are important for people and animals. We also discussed the parts of a plant and what plants need to grow.

After the discussion, the class did the Planting Mongo Seeds activity, a yearly favorite. Each child filled a cup with soil using a small spade, planted mongo seeds, sprayed water on them 💧, and placed their cups under the sun ☀️.

🎄MERRY DAYS DOWN MEMORY LANE DAY 7🎄

Featured in the album are the children making poutine—Canada's iconic comfort food—putting together fries, gravy, and cheese.

This was in line with the circle theme, “North America,” where the children learned that Native people lived there first with their own cultures, traditions, and games such as the Stick and Ring. Later, people from Europe and other continents arrived and shared their own cultures. The class also learned about famous places like the Five Great Lakes and animals like the prairie dog.

Canada was the country highlighted, the second-largest country in the world. They learned about the Canadian flag and its maple leaf, saw real maple syrup, and discussed Inuit igloos and snow goggles. They also discovered Canada’s national sport, ice hockey, and its national animal, the beaver.
