What is the Sanggunian for you? 🤔

The Ateneo Assembly went around asking students from every year level what their student government means to them.

A democratic student government is without legitimacy if not for the active engagement of their constituents.

Join PAKAY: Para Saan ang Sanggunian to understand the purpose of such a government in the context of the Ateneo community.

Ateneans, do you feel your student government?

In light of the upcoming Sanggunian General Elections, the relevance of the Sanggunian is once again being put into question.

The presidential vacancy in the last General Elections is a testament to the growing student apathy perhaps caused by a Sanggunian that fails to connect with its constituents.

With this, The Ateneo Assembly is holding a discussion with the original writer of the Sanggunian Constitution, along with writers of the various renditions of the constitution that comes after it, to answer the main question: what is the Sanggunian for?

We invite you as a student of the Undergraduate community, and as a constituent that the Sanggunian aims to represent, to take part in this discussion.
