On March 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM, RITO8 Personnel led by PLT JACKERON T CANUDAY, Asst. ITPO under the supervision of PLTCOL RONALD L DECENA, ITPO, PRO8 conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar and Cascading of Information Technology Advocacy Movement and Alliance (ITAMA) at Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU)-Tanauan Campus. The goal of the activity is to educate and promote cybersecurity awareness to the students, faculty, and staff of the campus and to provide them with information and precautions on how to counter cyberspace risks and other possible problems. The activity concluded with the distribution of IEC materials by RITO8 personnel to the attendees.

On March 21, 2024, the Regional Information Technology Office (RITO) 2, under the leadership of PLTCOL PEDRO I BACCAY, ITPO, RITO2, in collaboration with the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU) 2, introduced the Information Technology Advocacy Movement and Alliance (ITAMA) to interns from the University of Cagayan Valley at the Conference Room, OSS, PRO2. During the event, RACU2 presented a Brief Summary of Executive Order 70. RITO2 encouraged the students to actively engage in the advocacy by promoting ITAMA within their communities. Additionally, flyers were distributed to raise awareness about current cybersecurity trends.

On March 13, 2024, at 4:00 PM, RITO5 personnel, led by PMAJ MICHAEL T IGNACIO, C, RITO5, in collaboration with the RCADD and RPIO, conducted Cybersecurity Awareness and Cascading of the Information Technology Advocacy Movement and Alliance (ITAMA) at 89.1 Bicol Idol FM Legazpi, located in Legazpi City, Albay. This session was held during the KASUROG ko si Idol Radio Program.

On March 18, 2024, around 10:00 AM, the team from RITO MIMAROPA, spearheaded by PLTCOL SANTI RAYMUND N AN, ITPO, PRO MIMAROPA, conducted a brief lecture on cybersecurity hygiene and introduced the ITAMA to senior high school students of the Divine Word College of Calapan (DWCC). During the session, students were encouraged to support our cause by liking and following the ITMS and ITAMA pages, as well as joining our advocacy support group.

Additionally, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were distributed, covering topics such as Social Media Tips and Awareness, along with an introduction to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012."

On March 12, 2024, at 8:00 AM, the RITO11 Personnel, alongside PMAJ JULIUS P SANTILLANA, Asst. Chief, RICTMD 11, organized the Cascading of Information Technology Advocacy Movement and Alliance (ITAMA) and Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar. The event took place at the Matina Aplaya 75-A Barangay Hall Covered Court in Davao City, coinciding with the 101.9 Radyo 5 True FM Davao Grand Launching and community outreach program. Attendees not only benefited from the seminar but also received medical services, eye checkups, and product giveaways from corporate sponsors and partners.

On March 15, 2024, the team from RITO 1, led by PLT RYAN B BUMAL-O, hosted a cascading session focusing on ITAMA and Cyber Security Awareness Lecture during the Community Outreach Program (Serbisyo para kay Juan at Juana) held at Binatadan Elementary School, Puguil, Santol, La Union. The event saw active participation from the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and Barangay Officials, who eagerly absorbed insights on responsible technology use and cybersecurity measures. Engaging in discussions prompted attendees to consider applying newfound knowledge to enhance digital safety within their community. Moreover, their voiced support against terrorism and various criminal activities, including anti-illegal drugs, underscored their dedication to upholding societal values and fostering a safer environment.

On March 14 and 15, 2024, PCOL DIONISIO DC APAS, Chief of the Regional Community Affairs & Development Division (RCADD), led a two-day Gift Giving Activity at Pope Francis Home for Orphans and Elderly in Brgy. Arado, Palo, Leyte, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Home for Girls in Brgy Pawing, Palo, Leyte. PMAJ JENYZEN M VELOSO, Chief of the Police Information System, RCADD, PMAJ JAY FRANCIS S ESTIGOY, Chief Administrator of RFU8, and PLT JACKERON T CANUDAY, Assistant ITPO of PRO 8, were also in attendance under the supervision of PLTCOL RONALD L DECENA, ITPO of PRO8. The activity aimed to underscore the PNP's commitment to compassion, bridge-building, and positively impacting the lives of those in need.

Additionally, during the event, RITO 8 personnel, supervised by PLT JACKERON T CANUDAY, ITPO-PRO8, distributed flyers advocating for digital literacy, technology adoption, and innovation in contemporary society, while also campaigning against various forms of criminal activity.

On March 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM, the RITO2 team, led by PLTCOL PEDRO I BACCAY, ITPO, RITO2, spearheaded the launching of the Information Technology Advocacy Movement and Alliance (ITAMA) at the Regional Special Training Unit 2 Lecture Room, Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Over a hundred students from prestigious institutions such as the University of Cagayan Valley, Cagayan State University, F.L. Vargas College, Isabela State University, and Cataggaman National High School graced the event. Discussions ranged from Anti-Cybercrime Awareness to Top 5 ICT Websites, and Safety Tips on Cybersecurity.

The students expressed full support for ITAMA and pledged to collaborate actively. Through coordinated efforts with their respective schools and communities, we aim to build a safer Cagayan Valley Region for all.
