The hardest update 💔

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, our family shares that Jeremi peacefully joined our Creator on May 6 at 5:29 PM, after bravely facing cancer with unwavering strength and faith.
He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. For 22 years, he was the steady presence in my life and in our son’s life—my partner, my best friend, our protector, our source of quiet strength.
To his mother, he was a constant source of pride and love. To his siblings, he was a dependable kuya—always ready with advice, laughter, or a helping hand. To his cousins, aunts and uncles, he was their beloved “baby boy,” always bringing light and joy into family gatherings. To the three bulinggits—Ada, Baste, and Eli—he was their daddy in every way that mattered: their fun-loving Tito who made them feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.
To those who wish to honor Jeremi’s memory and keep him in your prayers, we invite you to join us:

Viewing
May 9 to May 13
St. Peter Chapels – Commonwealth

On the evening of May 13, Jeremi will be transferred to:
Corpus Christi Parish (Diocese of Novaliches)
Viewing will continue there until May 16.

Cremation
May 16 (time to be announced)

Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your presence during this difficult time. It is through this shared love—and through faith—that we find the strength to face the days ahead, holding Jeremi in our hearts always.

I don’t usually post things like this, but I felt like it was time to share what’s been going on.

The last 10 days have been a rollercoaster. I originally came in because of low blood pressure and wasn’t feeling well. But upon admission, they found pneumonia and an electrolyte imbalance, which threw everything into a new direction.

By my 5th day in the Medical ICU, things took a turn. My mental status was altered, and I began having tremors and twitching. Fred later explained just how close things were. Honestly, I don’t fully remember those moments, but hearing how bad it got was a wake-up call.

On top of that, my bilirubin levels went up (i was yellow as a banana), and fluid was found in my lungs. Thankfully, the fluid isn’t causing big issues, but they added another round of antibiotics just in case. Was reasy for a possible fluid drain but doctors said theres no need at this time.

I’m incredibly grateful to have Fred by my side — not just as my wife, but as my bedside nurse. She’s been keeping me calm, watching over me, and making sure I get everything I need when I couldn’t even ask for it myself.

Now, day by day, I’m getting stronger. My mind is clearer, and my body is starting to catch up. Baby steps, but every step counts.

The fight isn’t over yet, but with God’s grace, I’m holding onto hope that I’ll be going home soon — stronger and ready to continue this fight.

Thank you to everyone who’s been praying, checking in, and sending love. Your support means more than I can ever express.

Hello friends➡️ LF Blood Donor any blood type, Jeremi needs 2 more bags para ma normalize RBC level niya.

If you are able or know someone, punta lang po tayo sa blood bank ng Veterans Medical Center.

Blood type: A+, pero any blood type will do replenish ni blood bank yun sa supply nila if di same blood type ni jeremi 🙏

5th chemo done! Jeremi gained 2 more kg, now at 90kg (lol). He swears he's been on a diet with no midnight snacks na daw, but blames it on those ampalaya and friends smoothies 😆. He's getting super independent and can stand and sit on his own na,nagpakitang gilas na naman siya sa doctors, nurses and classmates niya kanina.

🎯 Next chemo: maglakad na siya with cane from entrance to chemo unit 🙏

Nagpakitang gilas siya kanina naglakad at tumayo with minimal assistance. Jeremi is responding well to his treatment, even gained 2 kg😅

Got me some good news today! Based on my Bone Scan results the mets that were targeted during my 1st 10 Radiotheraphy sessions worked. Although based on the scans there are 2 new areas that need to be targeted as well so meaning another 10 sessions.

But I am focused on the good news I received and thank God that the initial sessions worked. We also got an SMS from PCSO that I got approved for 20k medicine assistance which is a big help for my next round of Chemotherapy. Thank you Lord for constantly giving me provisions to be able to win this fight. I know you always have my back.

I am just waiting for my Oncologists clearance to properly schedule the next round of Radiotheraphy as my next chemotherapy session is scheduled on Apr 16.

Please continue praying for me and my family!

I love you all 🫰❤️

Jeremi
