The Philippines Communication Society joins the observance of Privacy Awareness Week 2026 under the theme, βANAMNESIS: Looking Back and Moving Forward.β
This yearβs observance invites reflection on the continuing importance of privacy and data protection in an increasingly digital and AI-driven communication environment. As media technologies evolve, conversations on ethics, accountability, and responsible handling of personal data remain essential across communication, research, education, and public engagement.
The theme also reminds us that safeguarding privacy is a shared responsibility--one that requires awareness, trust, and collective action in both online and offline spaces.

Kitakits!
