Ang Brgy. Burol 3 ay nagsagawa ng isang makabuluhang gawain kung saan tinuruan ang mga PWDs at kanilang miyembro ng pamilya ng paggawa ng dishwashing liquid. Ang layunin nito ay madagdagan ang kaalaman at kasanayan ng PWDs at ng kanilang pamilya upang magkaroon sila ng pagkakakitaan/ hanapbuhay.

The 2nd cluster meeting was attended by the PWD Barangay Chapter Presidents and their Punong Barangays, and Committee Chairs on PWD.
The meeting focused on 4 advocacy campaigns, to include:
1) stronger and functional PWD organization in every barangay
2) proper utilization of PWD fund in the barangay level
3) promotion of barrier-free environment in barangay facilities to provide access to PWDs and encourage their full participation
4) inclusion of PWD representative in Local Governance in the Barangay Level to promote inclusive development and empowerment of pwds (to have PWD leader/s who will be part of the different councils/committee)

On August 19, 2000, Proclamation No. 361 was issued declaring every third week of July as the "National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week" to raise awareness of the problems on disability, and encourage every citizen to take active responsibility in addressing these issues.
Therefore, we are encouraging partners, it is either an individual, group/ association, agencies (public or private) to conduct meaningful activities that will benefit our beloved persons with disability (e.g. Medical mission, socialization activities, health orientation/ seminar, livelihood skills trainings, etc.)
