The Human Resource Management and Development Service (HRMDS), through the Learning and Development Division (LDD), successfully conducted the first batch of the Online Technical Writing Camp for DSWD Personnel on 19–21 May 2026 via Google Meet.
Over the course of three days, DSWD personnel participated in interactive discussions and writeshops aimed at enhancing technical writing skills and promoting the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in government writing. Resource persons from the DSWD Academy and Field Office V shared their expertise and valuable insights to enrich the learning experience.
Congratulations to all Batch 1 participants for taking part in this meaningful and productive learning journey toward clearer, more effective, and responsible government communication.

The General Administration and Support Services Group (GASSG) celebrated the beginning of Pride Month, together with the rest of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office, as they start the month of June.
The flag ceremony was hosted by the Administrative Service and Procurement and Procurement Management Division, and was supported by the Office of the Special Committee on LGBTQIA+ Affairs, Diversity, and Inclusion. Usec. Elen de Vibar Pasion, Undersecretary for the said Special Committee delivered a speech to initiate the celebration of the Pride Month, emphasizing that inclusion is based on respect and acceptance to cultivate a safe space for all. Assistant Secretary Jezreel Kiel Maristela also provided details on the upcoming activities for Pride month, which aims to promote awareness and encourage employee participation throughout the month.
The ceremony also officially acknowledged newly appointed personnel of the DSWD Central office, many of whom previously worked with the GASSG in their career in public service. Moreover, exemplary service from “Angels in Red Vests” were also recognized during the ceremony to honor their dedication, dependability, and commitment to the mission and vision of the Bureau in disaster response efforts.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is currently conducting the Day 1 payout of ₱5,000 cash assistance for service delivery riders today, May 26, 2026, at the DSWD Central Office in Batasan, Quezon City.
The activity is being successfully carried out through the collaborative efforts of various offices and personnel of the DSWD, including the General Administration and Support Services Group (GASSG), which contributes to the overall preparation and facilitation of the event. GASSG assists in ensuring the readiness of the Multipurpose Hall, the availability of medical personnel for immediate assistance, and the implementation of security and crowd management measures to maintain order and safety throughout the payout activity.
This initiative aims to provide support and recognition to service delivery riders for their continued dedication and invaluable contribution in ensuring the timely delivery of services to communities.

Maayos na Daloy ng DSWD Cash Aid Payout, Ginhawa para sa mga Service Delivery Drivers
Muling nagpapatuloy ang Special Payout ng unclaimed DSWD cash relief assistance para sa mga service delivery riders sa DSWD Central Office sa Batasan, Quezon City ngayong Martes (Mayo 26).
Nasa higit 34 kumpanya ng PEMEDES riders ang inaasahang makakatanggap ngayon ng tig-Php5,000.
Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., ipinag-utos ang agarang paglalaan ng tulong-pinansyal para matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga delivery drivers na apektado ng pagtaas ng presyo ng langis.
📌PAALALA: Para lamang ito sa mga riders na kabilang sa mga kumpanyang naka-schedule ngayong Martes (Mayo 26).
Sa iba pang riders na nakatanggap na ng cash relief assistance noon, makikita ito sa verification process kaya hinihikayat na huwag nang pumunta sa payout venue para maiwasan ang abala at mas mapabilis ang proseso para sa ibang benepisyaryo.

The HRMDS-Learning and Development Division, in cooperation with ICTMS, successfully conducted the Google Workspace End-user Training for CO Newly-hired Personnel (Batch 1) via Google Meet on 14 May 2026, with a total of 77 participants.
The training aimed to equip newly hired personnel with essential knowledge and practical skills in using Google Workspace tools to support productivity, collaboration, and efficient communication in the workplace.
The session was facilitated by HRMDS-LDD in partnership with ICTMS, with Ms. Marrieth Myn Cayabyab of Maroon Studios serving as the Resource Person. Ms. Cayabyab is a Customer Success Specialist and a Certified Associate Google Workspace Administrator who shared valuable insights and hands-on guidance on maximizing the features of Google Workspace applications.

Attention DSWD Central Office Officials and Employees:
Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 14 May 2026, the DSWD Central Office will enforce a strict "No EVEP Sticker, No Entry" policy. This applies to both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles. Please be aware that employees parking along Batasan Road do so at their own risk.
For those without the new EVEP stickers, please refer to the recent email advisory and coordinate with the General Services Division (GSD) to secure your sticker promptly.
