| More than Health: Reproductive Health in the Philippines
Reproductive health is a basic human right, yet in the Philippines, many individuals still face barriers in accessing services, information, and care. These challenges are not only health-related but are deeply connected to Gender and Development (GAD)โwhere access, decision-making, and responsibility are influenced by gender roles, inequality, and social conditions.
Read this and help break the barriers, challenge the stigma, and support equal access to reproductive health for all. Stay informed, speak up, and be part of the call for a more inclusive and empowered community.

TINGNAN: Nagsagawa ng Word of GAD Lecture patungkol sa โReproductive Health in the Philippinesโ ang PFDA - Gender and Development Focal Point System (PFDA-GFPS) noong Abril 20, 2026 sa PFDA Central Office, Diliman, Quezon City.
Arlyn E. Andagao, miyembro ng PFDA-GFPS Committee on Advocacy, Linkages, and Capacity Building (CALCB), ang maikling lecture.

On April 17, 2019, Republic Act No. 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act was enacted to address gender-based s*xual harassment in public settings, workplaces, schools, and online platforms. It strengthens protection mechanisms and promotes a culture of accountability and respect in every setting.
Seven years later, the call remains the same. Makibahagi, manindigan, at kumilos. Together, let us make safe spaces a daily reality for all.

Naniniwala ako na ang women in senior roles help move change forward by promoting fairness, teamwork, and inclusivity. Ang pamumuno ng isang babae ay may kakaibang timpla: firm but compassionate and result-oriented yet nurturing.โ

| โI believe that the changes my fellow women leaders can bring are rooted in our strengths as women, such as perseverance, compassion, and meticulousness in every task we undertake. Our continued ability to rise above the limitations placed on us as women also inspires others, paving the way for more opportunities that are equal to those given to men, which in turn changes the societyโs professional narrative.โ
