A NEW MISSION FOR OKB

Good morning mga Kapatid. OKB sent two volunteers on motorcycles from MacArthur town in Eastern Samar to survey the towns further north of Dolores which was the first town hit by typhoon Ruby. They were able to reach Northern Samar.

And these is what they reported:

Lapinig town -- 480 house totally washed out by the floods and strong wind

Gamay town -- 690 houses totally damaged, 80% of them washed out to the sea

Mapanas town -- 119 houses washed out. Bgy. Silaghon, an upland barangay, 76 houses washed out due to landslides and strong wind.

Passable na raw po ang mga towns na ito. Power is still down pero may mga ilang generators na gumagana. Cellphone signal is very poor. At WALA pa raw pong relief na nakakarating sa mga lugar na iyon.

Our mission now is to coordinate relief efforts for this town. Kung meron po kayo puwedeng maitulong in any way, please post a comment or PM us.

Maraming maraming salamat po. May God guide us all.
