Today marks two incredible years of service as Chairman of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA). It’s been an honor to champion the development of our local water sector with our water districts.

As Chairman, we have proven it’s never business as usual and we will continue to do the good work called upon us — because the work we do today shapes a water-secure Philippines for tomorrow. Water after all is always a matter of humanity and never just a matter of policy.

Grateful for the journey so far, and committed to the mission ahead. 💧Maraming salamat po sa suporta niyo. Patuloy na trabaho, trabaho, trabaho lang po tayo . 🇵🇭

Taralets Para sa Tubig: Nature Walk and Fun Run for World Earth Day gathered communities, families, and advocates for a meaningful fun run last April 27 at La Mesa Ecopark. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A heartfelt thank you to our partner PAWD (Philippine Association of Water Districts) led by their President and Baguio WD GM Budz Royeca for their support! 💙

We are grateful as well to H.E. Ambassador Constance See of Singapore to the Philippines and her family (who all joined us in the 3K fun run!), H.E. Ambassador of Spain to the Philippines Miguel Utray of Spain, La Mesa Ecopark and Manila Water Foundation, Manila Water President & CEO Mr. Jocot de Dios, LWUA Deputy Administrator Rosan Perez of Financial Services, and our We Ken Run organizers for their energy and presence!

At maraming salamat din po sa lahat ng water districts, water associations, local water providers and suppliers, and the public who showed up in full force!

Together, we walked, ran, and moved with purpose to protect one of our most precious resources—water!💧
