As we close out Women’s Month this last day of March, we are taking a moment to honor a legacy of female generosity that sits at the very heart of our library. 🌸

This plaque commemorates a significant gift from 1945, made by the Woman’s Auxiliary in the Diocese of Massachusetts. This contribution was provided through the bequest of Alice Manton Morgan, dedicated to the memory of her mother, Isabelle Morgan.

It is a powerful reminder that our collection was built on the shoulders of women who believed in the lasting impact of education and literature. Their vision continues to provide a space for learning and discovery for every patron who walks through our doors today.

While the doors are locked, our digital shelves are wide open! 🔓 Whether you're catching up on readings or getting a head start on those final papers, you can access thousands of academic journals, e-books, and primary sources from the comfort of your rooms.
