𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• At least High School graduate
• Physically fit and able to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
• With good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when necessary
• Preferably with experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or utility work

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Cleans and maintains assigned areas
• Performs minor repair and maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other related works
• Carries out messengerial tasks, including delivery and retrieval of documents, materials, and other items
• Performs counter duties such as receiving telephone calls, mails, packages, and messages
• Conducts the general cleaning of the residence hall during semestral break
• Receives, issues, and maintains records of cleaning materials and supplies
• Regularly communicates and interacts with student residents in a courteous and respectful manner

Please be informed that the UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) and its units will adopt a revised work schedule in line with Memorandum No. ECLV-26-013.

From Monday to Thursday, all units shall continue to observe regular on-site operations. Meanwhile, Friday is designated as the work-from-home (WFH) day for the months of March and April, unless otherwise announced.

Please note that while OSH administrative office will observe the said arrangement, student dormitories/residence halls shall continue with regular on-site operations due to the nature of services provided.

The UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) and its units will adopt a new work schedule in line with Memorandum No. ECLV-26-013.

Please be informed that from Monday to Thursday, all units shall continue to observe on-site work arrangements and maintain regular office operations. Meanwhile, the designated work-from-home (WFH) day will be Friday for the months of March and April, unless otherwise announced.

This arrangement applies to the following OVCSA units:
UP Diliman Office of Counseling and Guidance (OCG)
UP Diliman - Office of Scholarships and Grants (OSG)
UP Diliman Office of Student Projects and Activities (OSPA)
UP Diliman Office of Student Housing (OSH) - administrative offices only
UP Diliman Office for Student Ethics (OSE)
Diliman Learning Resource Center (DLRC)
University Food Service (UFS) - administrative offices only

Please note that the cafeteria and bakeshop under the UFS, as well as the student dormitories/residence halls under the OSH, are not included in the new flexible work arrangement due to the nature of their operations.

The UP Diliman University Student Council office, the Philippine Collegian office, and the Third Space UP Diliman will continue to observe their regular operating hours.

The OSH Admin Office will undergo its monthly pest control today, Friday, February 27, 2026, at 2:30 PM. Our office at Room 302, 3rd Floor, Vinzons Hall will remain open until then. After 2:30 PM, operations will temporarily move to Acacia Residence Hall for the rest of the day.

Blitzkrieg (Blitz, Therese, Mingmin) has been a beloved cat of the Sampaguita Residence Hall for over two years. After going missing during the Christmas break, she returned weak and in need of urgent medical care.

She is currently refusing to eat and continues to struggle with a long-standing respiratory condition. To help her recover, she needs laboratory tests, medications, and proper veterinary treatment.

We are honored to have welcomed Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) to UP Diliman on January 22, 2026, as part of their benchmarking visit to our residence halls.

Following this, the Office of Student Housing conducted a return benchmarking visit to TMP Tech on January 28, 2026, to learn from their best practices in dormitory operations.

These exchanges strengthen our commitment to continuously enhance dormitory management and provide a better experience for our students. Thank you to TMP Tech for the warm hospitality and fruitful collaboration!
