Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Cooperative Development Authority-NCR (CDA-NCR) katuwang ang Pasig City Cooperative Development Office (CDO), ang Cooperative Handholding Caravan noong Abril 7, 2026 sa Chardonnay by Astoria, Pasig City. Ito ay isang programa na naglalayong palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga kooperatiba sa lungsod at tulungan silang makakuha ng Certificate of Compliance (COC) sa parehong araw.

Dinaluhan ito ng iba’t ibang kooperatiba na nagkakaisa sa layuning masiguro ang maayos at napapanahong pagsumite sa mga kailangang ulat. Sinimulan ang programa ni G. Romeo Naga, Tagapangulo ng Pasig City Cooperative Development Council (PCCDC), na malugod na tinanggap ang lahat at hinikayat ang bawat isa na samantalahin ang pagkakataong ito upang matuto, makipag-ugnayan, at higit pang mapaunlad ang kanilang kooperatiba. Sinundan ito ni Atty. Leah Banagui-Han, Deputy Administrator for Legal Affairs Services ng CDA, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng aktibidad bilang bahagi ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa pagitan ng CDA at Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Pasig. Tampok ang kauna-unahang Legal Corner, na nagbigay ng libreng agarang gabay tungkol sa batas, at nakiisa rin si Regional Director Pedro T. Defensor Jr. ng CDA-NCR Extension Office.

Nagbigay ng suporta sina Kgg. Bise-Alkalde Robert Vincent Jude “Dodot” Jaworski Jr. at Konsehal ng Lungsod na si G. Paul Roman “Pao” C. Santiago, na nagpatingkad sa kahalagahan ng maayos na pamamahala at pagsunod sa batas. Pinahayag naman ni Ret. Major General Gilbert S. Llanto, AFP (Tagapangulo ng ACDI), ang kanilang pasasalamat sa pakikipagtulungan sa CDA at Pasig CDO, habang binigyang-diin ni Gng. Ma. Teresa O. Briones, City Government Department Head II ng Pasig City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) ang kahalagahan ng partnership ng kanilang tanggapan sa mga kooperatiba sa mga programang pangkabuhayan at panlipunan.

Bilang bahagi ng caravan, ang ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, katuwang ang mga Certified External Auditors (CEA), ay nagbigay ng libreng serbisyo sa pagtatala ng libro para tulungan ang mga kooperatiba sa paghahanda ng Audited Financial Statements.

Dumalo rin si Gng. Rosario Cañadido, Assistant General Manager ng Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives-National Capital Region (PFCCO-NCR). Habang nagbahagi naman ang Credit Information Corporation (CIC) ng kanilang serbisyo at pinaalalahanan ang mga kooperatiba tungkol sa pagpaparehistro sa kanilang ahensya. Nagkaroon ng mahalagang talakayan mula kina G. Gerard Paul Salinas (Acting Senior Cooperatives Development Specialist, Supervision and Examination Section (SES), CDA) at G. Ryan Dela Luna (Cooperatives Development Specialist II, CDA) hinggil sa proseso ng caravan, RA 11765, IRR, at ang MC 2025-08 Financial Consumer Protection Assistance Management System (FCPAMS).

Itinampok ang Coopmercial, kung saan naipakita ng Rockbuilders Urban Development & Multi-purpose Cooperative, Camp Converters Consumers Cooperative, Boardwalk Multipurpose Cooperative, at DAP Multipurpose Cooperative ang kanilang mga produkto at serbisyo — isang hakbang upang mas mapalawak ang ugnayan at oportunidad sa sektor.

Sa kabuuan, ang Cooperative Handholding Caravan ay nagsilbing isang makabuluhang plataporma para sa pagkakaisa, suporta, at patuloy na paglago ng mga kooperatiba sa Lungsod ng Pasig.

CDA-NCREO welcomes the newly accredited and renewed Cooperative External Auditors (CEA) !!!

The Cooperative Development Authority – National Capital Region (CDA-NCR) officially recognized a new cohort of dedicated professionals during the oath-taking ceremony held at the CDA-NCR Office in Quezon City. The proceedings transpired on 05 May 2026 at the CDA-NCR Conference Room and were administered by Regional Director Pedro T. Defensor Jr. with the staff and personnel of the Supervision and Examination Section. A total of 16 CEAs—comprising individuals, signing partners, and auditing firms—took their formal oath, signaling their readiness to serve the cooperative sector with renewed vigor and professional rigor.

An esteemed congratulations to the newly accredited and renewed auditors. Beyond compliance, CEAs expertise is vital to depict the financial health and long-term resilience of our cooperatives. Your commitment ensures a transparent and thriving movement for all.
