On the morning of January 10, 2025, the Great Eastern Hotel in Averdeen Court, Quezon City, became the gathering place for the New Year’s Call to the Regional Director of BFP-NCR. As the clock neared 0900H, the venue was filled with anticipation, as 54 female and 226 male commissioned and non-commissioned officers gathered in their uniforms, ready to mark the start of a new year under the leadership of their Regional Director.
The hall was a blend of formality and camaraderie, with officers exchanging quiet conversations before the official proceedings began. The Regional Director, with his usual calm yet authoritative presence, took the stage to address the gathered crowd. His words, though brief, were filled with gratitude for the unwavering dedication of the men and women in the room, recognizing their collective efforts in the face of the challenges that lay ahead.
The officers stood in disciplined formation, their pride and unity evident as they listened intently. For many, this was not just a call to mark the year, but an affirmation of the shared commitment to serving the community, protecting lives, and facing whatever challenges the coming months would bring. The Regional Director’s message of strength, teamwork, and resilience resonated deeply with each officer.
As the ceremony concluded, the formalities gave way to a more relaxed atmosphere, with officers engaging in friendly exchanges.
