In line with the national directive under Memorandum Circular No. 119, the PhilHealth Regional Office NCR (PRO NCR) actively participated in the 2026 Open Government Week from May 18 to 22, showcasing its commitment to transparency, accountability, and participatory governance by opening its doors and engaging directly with PhilHealth members.
This initiative enables members to understand and maximize their healthcare benefits and ensures responsive foundation of Universal Health Care.

ππ‘πŽ 𝐍𝐂𝐑 π’πŽπ”π“π‡ πŒπ„πŒππ„π‘π’π‡πˆπ π’π„π‚π“πˆπŽπ together with ParaΓ±aque Health Plan Office conducted the orientation on YAKAP, GAMOT and Cancer Screening test Programs to the ParaΓ±aque city jail male and female ward.

In line with Joint Administrative Order No. 2024-0001, otherwise known as the β€œNational Policy on the Promotion and Protection of Health in Jails, Prison, Custodial Facilities, and Other Places of Detention,” the PhilHealth PRO NCR South Membership Section, headed by Mr. Rommel Tabio, conducted courtesy visits and coordination meetings with key officials of the BJMP ParaΓ±aque City Jail Male and Female Dormitories.

Representatives Mr. Frederick Rosario and Ms. Michelle Ann Deveras met with PHPO Acting Head Dr. Ma. Loreleigh Obed, Male Dormitory Warden JSUPT Joey Genecera, and Female Dormitory Warden JSINSP Melanie Garcia.
The team also facilitated the YAKAP Orientation to further strengthen awareness and understanding of PhilHealth programs and available health benefits. The activity aimed to ensure PhilHealth membership coverage and promote accessible healthcare services, preventive care, and overall well-being among Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) and BJMP personnel.

The First Patient Encounter (FPE) was facilitated by an accredited private YaKaP Clinic under LHIO QC, ensuring residents’ access to essential primary care services and promoting health awareness within the community.

ππ‘πŽ 𝐍𝐂𝐑 π’πŽπ”π“π‡ | π‹π‡πˆπŽ ππ€π’πˆπ† successfully conducted awareness on PhilHealth YAKAP to the residents and homeowners of Greenwoods Executive Village (Pasig-Cainta-Taytay) and Mercedes Executive Village (Pasig-Cainta) held on May 9 and May 16, respectively. The Associations in partnership with Prime Hospital & Medical Center, Inc. together with PhilHealth provided opportunity to avail PhilHealth YAKAP benefit Package thru health assessment, primary care check-up, targeted laboratories /diagnostics, cancer screening test and essential medicines or PhilHealth GAMOT.

ππ‘πŽ 𝐍𝐂𝐑 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐋 | π‹π‡πˆπŽ ππ”π„π™πŽπ π‚πˆπ“π˜ and Quezon City LGU, spearheaded by the City Health Department, organized a medical caravan that provided various services to the residents of Don Antonio Subdivision, Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City. These services included medical consultations, laboratory tests, and the provision of medicines.

PhilHealth set up an on-site registration booth to assist with YAKAP Selection/Transfer, Registration of new members, updating of records for existing members, as well as the issuance of IDs and MDRs.

ππ‘πŽ 𝐍𝐂𝐑 π’πŽπ”π“π‡ | π‹π‡πˆπŽ ππ€π’πˆπ† conducted awareness and caravan on PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (PhilHealth YAKAP) during the Career Orientation and Job Fair for graduating students at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) dubbed as "READY. SET. HIRED" through the Student Success Office (SSO), Guidance and Counseling Office (GCO) in coordination with Pasig City Public Employment Service Office (PESO). PhilHealth personnel also assisted students on membership registration and assistance to YAKAP Clinic selection as well as issuance of printed PhilHealth ID.

LHIO Pasig personnel together with students from Ateneo School of Science and Engineering patiently assisted beneficiaries for the selection of YAKAP clinic of choice. These activities was held on May 5 at Barangay Santolan and May 8 at Barangay Pinagbuhatan respectiviely. This is in partnership with OSCA, PDAO and Lone District of Pasig City - House of Representatives.
