The DSWD, together with the Commission on Audit (COA), conducted the CY 2025 Consolidated Annual Audit Report (CAAR) Exit Conference on 26 May 2026 through a hybrid setup at the DSWD Central Office and via Google Meet.
The activity highlighted the Department’s continuing commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance through constructive dialogue on audit findings, recommendations, and ongoing corrective actions.
Secretary Rex Gatchalian, along with Undersecretary Adonis P. Sulit emphasized the DSWD’s dedication to strengthening internal controls and ensuring efficient and people-centered public service delivery.

Congratulations to the Policy and Planning Group (PPG) for winning in the TAG-EASE TALINO (TAGIS-TALINO): EODB Online Quiz Bee held in celebration of the DSWD Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month 2026! 🎉
Kudos also to the General Administration and Support Service Group, First Runner-Up, and the Peace and Development Group, Second Runner-Up, for their strong performance during the competition.
The activity served as a fun and engaging test of knowledge on EODB, anti-red tape reforms, and citizen-centered public service delivery.
All the best to Team PPG as they represent the DSWD Central Office in the upcoming round against the Field Offices this 28 May 2026!

The ASEAN Conference and Workshop on Family Development Network officially commenced today, bringing together ASEAN delegates through an online platform to strengthen regional collaboration and advance family development initiatives across the region.
On behalf of SOMSWD Philippines Undersecretary Adonis P. Sulit, Asec. Janet P. Armas of the Regulatory Services and Institutional Development Group, Alternate SOMSWD Philippines, presented the activity overview.
The day’s discussions and engagements were facilitated by Asec. Irene Dumlao of the Disaster Response Management Group as Moderator of the Open Forum, Dir. Hannah Giray-Carcido of the Policy Development and Planning Bureau as Moderator of the Roundtable Discussion, and Dir. Clarissa Lara A. Duran of the Traditional Media Service as the Program Host.
The conference will continue until May 14, fostering stronger partnerships, shared learning, and collective action toward empowering families and communities across ASEAN.
