In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, the UP NISMED Library will adopt a Compressed Work Week schedule starting 𝟭𝟰 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

• 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟳:𝟯𝟬𝗔𝗠 - 𝟱:𝟯𝟬𝗣𝗠

• 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

The UP Diliman (UPD) Office of the Chancellor announced that UPD, except for essential offices, will be implementing the half-day work schedule under a flexible work arrangement on Wednesday, April 1, in observance of the Holy Week.

Last Monday at our UP NISMED Library Extension Activity, these bright students from Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School showed just how much they learned after our storytelling of The Hidden Sun 🌞✨

Their enthusiastic answers during the post-story quiz were definitely one of the highlights of a morning filled with exciting science discoveries. 🔭

This Monday morning of 23 February 2026, the UP NISMED Library Staff together with their student intern, Ms. Coline Shine General, and Mr. Anthony Guiller Urbano from the UP NISMED Stargazing Team engaged 132 curious young minds at 𝘿𝙞𝙤𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙋. 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 for a fun-filled learning experience! ☀️✨

Today's highlights:
🔭 Safe telescope viewing of the Sun
📖 Storytelling of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘯
🌏 Simple eclipse demonstration using props
