𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | SBHS SSLG’s Teachers’ Day Tribute

The first Monday of October began with an afternoon of excitement and camaraderie at 8:30 a.m. at the San Bartolome High School Covered Court as the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) hosted a special Teachers’ Day tribute for the educators who continue to serve and guide the school community.

The celebration featured a variety of recreational activities, including the much-anticipated giant volleyball game and several traditional Filipino games that fostered teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among the participants.

Despite the challenges faced by the council, the event remained lively and spirited, with the crowd cheering enthusiastically as participants battled it out in the highly anticipated giant volleyball match.

Through these activities, the SSLG expressed its appreciation for the dedication and service of the school’s teachers, making the celebration a memorable tribute to the educators who help shape the students’ future.

READY, SET, SPIKE, and GET READY for some major fun and epic showdowns!

The Giant Volleyball: Teachers' Friendly Match is happening, and our beloved teachers are trading activities for some action on the court! Here is everything you need to know about how this exciting event is going down:

Every department team is made up of eight (8) powerhouse teachers. The tournament will then use a giant volleyball instead of a standard one for a modified, recreational version of the sport. Additionally, three initial matches will determine the teams advancing to the championship round. A reminder that physical contact, intentional interference, and inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited, with safety and sportsmanship being our top priorities.

The SSLG and designated coordinators will assist in organizing and confirming official rosters and ensuring the orderly, safe conduct of the activity.

Let’s cheer our teachers as they showcase teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun on the court!
