[APPOINTMENT OF CVC AND 4Cs HEADS, AND FORMALIZATION OF THE COUNCIL OF VOLUNTEER CORPS (CVC) APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES]

The QCSHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government formally announces two important updates concerning the composition of the SSLG Executive Committee for School Year 2026–2027.

📌 Formal Qualifications and Appointment Protocols for the Head of the Council of Volunteer Corps (CVC)
In line with the SSLG’s efforts to ensure leadership quality, and pursuant to Article IV, Section 5 and Article I, Section 1 of the CVC Charter, s. 2025, the incumbent SSLG President is authorized to appoint a student as the CVC Head. This appointment grants qualified students, specifically those who have served as core members of the Council of Volunteer Corps or as SSLG Executive or CGL Officers for at least one (1) school year within the last three (3) years - the opportunity to lead, ensuring the continuity of service, dedication, and responsibility the position requires.

📌 Appointment of New Committee Heads
In accordance with Resolution No. 2027-002, the SSLG appoints Ms. Thien Than S. Mangubat as the Council of Volunteer Corps (CVC) Committee Head, and Ms. Jan Adrielle A. Mamangun as the Council of Campus Co-Curricular Organizations (4Cs) Committee Head. These student leaders were selected following a comprehensive application and selection process and will serve as advocates of student engagement and service.

[DOREEN MASLOG SECURES NCR-RFSSLG SECRETARY POSITION FOR S.Y. 2026–2027]

On May 5, 2026, QCSHS SSLG President Doreen Jesica C. Maslog secured her position as the incoming Secretary of the NCR Regional Federation of the SSLG for the S.Y. 2026–2027.

In this new role, Doreen will represent both QCSHS and Quezon City on a regional platform, taking part in key initiatives and ensuring that the collective voices of the community are effectively expressed and represented.

The application period for the Heads of the Coordinating Council of Campus Co-curricular Organizations (4Cs) and the Council of Volunteer Corps (CVC) for the school year 2026-2027 is now officially closed.
