Daily Reflection ✝️

June 2, 2026
Tuesday of the 9th Week in Ordinary Time
Gospel: Mark 12:13–17

In today's Gospel, the Pharisees and Herodians try to trap Jesus with a question about paying census tax, to which He famously responds: "Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God."

It is incredibly easy to let the demands, duties, and relentless worries of the world consume our daily lives. Our hands get heavy with responsibilities, and our minds grow restless. Yet, Jesus reminds us of a profound truth: while we have earthly obligations to fulfill, our true allegiance, identity, and ultimate worth belong solely to God.

Just as a coin bears the image of an earthly ruler, our souls bear the divine imprint of our Creator. When we choose to surrender that "sacred place" within us to Him, the clutter of daily anxieties begins to clear, and everything else beautifully falls into its proper order.

Let us pause today to untangle ourselves from worldly worries and give God what truly belongs to Himour undivided hearts, our deep trust, and our lives.

Daily Reflection✝️

June 3, 2026
Wednesday of the 9th Week in Ordinary Time
Gospel: Mark 12:18–27

Sometimes, the world tries to convince us that this earthly life is all there is, or that our daily struggles and faithfulness don't matter in the long run. But today's message is a beacon of hope. Our God is a God of life, renewal, and eternity. The love He pours into us doesn't end when our earthly bodies fade it stretches into eternity. Because of the resurrection, no prayer is wasted, no act of love is in vain, and our faith rests on a promise that defeats death itself.

Let us live today with the joyful confidence of people who belong to the living God!

Daily Gospel Reflection

May 31, 2026
Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Gospel: John 3:16–18

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him." — John 3:17

In today’s Gospel, we are reminded of the greatest love story ever told. God did not send Jesus to point fingers at our mistakes or judge us. Instead, He sent His Son to save us because He loves us too much to let us go.

Sometimes, we feel like we have to be perfect before we can come to God. We try to hide our doubts, our mistakes, and our messy lives, thinking we aren't good enough. But God’s love is different. He doesn’t wait for us to clean up our mess. He meets us right in the middle of our struggles and carries us through.

This Solemnity of the Holy Trinity reminds us that God is not a distant judge, but a loving Father, a saving Son, and a comforting Spirit. When we realize that He loves us exactly as we are, we can finally stop running away from Him and start running toward Him with trust.

Daily Gospel Reflection

May 30, 2026
Saturday of the 8th Week in Ordinary Time
Gospel: Mark 11:27–33

"By what authority are you doing these things?" — Mark 11:28

In today’s Gospel, the religious leaders questioned Jesus because they could not accept the authority that came from God. Instead of opening their hearts to the truth, they became focused on their own pride, fears, and reputation.

Sometimes, we can be like them. We ask God for answers, yet struggle to accept them when they challenge us to change. We want God to work according to our plans, but faith calls us to trust His ways even when we do not fully understand.

Jesus reminds us today that following Him requires humility. When we let go of our pride and listen with sincere hearts, we begin to recognize His presence and guidance in our lives.

May we have the courage to trust God's authority, follow His will, and remain faithful even when the path is uncertain.

Lord, teach us to listen with open hearts, trust in Your wisdom, and follow You with humility and faith. Amen.
