This Is Our Choice
The question of being a leader is not whether we can or cannot be one but rather, if we chose to act on it or not. Most people have what it takes to become a leader but not all of them have the desire to become one. Moreover, we do have a choice to become a good and responsible leader yet sometimes, we fail to become one.
Being a good leader and a responsible one at the same time is a struggle. It is difficult to stay on the right track and follow through your aspirations as the pressure of being a leader builds up. It is difficult to do a leader’s responsibilities especially if it is not one of his priorities. It is difficult to become a good and responsible leader simply some leaders refuse to be one.
We, the members of the KAPIT-BISIG chose to be your leaders. And yes, we have chosen to be a good and responsible one.
We do not only wish to become the representative of the student body in our university, we desire to serve you and become the instrument to let the voices of the students be heard. We do not see our role as your leaders as an obligation but a responsibility. We do not see your concerns and problems as something that we could just ignore but as something that we should act upon and raise awareness on.
These are our choices because we believe that the students deserve someone who has the mind and heart to help the students achieve the good change that we all wanted.
This is our choice and it could be yours too.
TARA NA! KILOS NA! KAPIT-BISIG NA TAYO!
