𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗 𝗗𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗚𝗦𝗙 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝟮𝟬% 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA, through its Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) and in coordination with the Office of Project Development Services (OPDS) – Communications and Advocacy Unit, conducted field documentation, project monitoring, and validation activities of various Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) and 20% Development Fund projects, including several recognized under the SubayBAYANI Awards 2025 in the Province of Oriental Mindoro from May 18–21, 2026.

The following projects were found COMPLETE and FUNCTIONAL:
• Construction of School Building in Socorro
• Solar Powered Water System with Filtration Project in Calapan City
• Sanitary Landfill Cell Project in Calapan City
• Construction of Health Station in Victoria
• Food Assistance/Rice Distribution Project in Puerto Galera

These initiatives continue to provide improved access to education, healthcare, clean water, solid waste management, and social services for local communities.

Through these efforts, DILG MIMAROPA and the OPDS reaffirms its shared commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of infrastructure projects that contribute to inclusive and sustainable local governance.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗨𝗬𝗢, 𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥!

The TRAINING ON ELECTRONIC LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT SYSTEM (eLGU System Deployment: Admin Training and System Setup) was successfully conducted through the collaborative efforts of the DILG MIMAROPA in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) MIMAROPA and the Municipality of Cuyo, Palawan.

The activity equipped LGU personnel with the necessary knowledge and technical skills in implementing the eLGU System to promote streamlined processes, reduce red tape, and enhance efficient, inclusive, and citizen-centered public service delivery.

Participants engaged in hands-on workshops, system simulations, and module discussions covering eCedula, Local Civil Registry, eGovPay, eNews, and the Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS), culminating in the exciting 2026 eLGUlympics.

Together, we move closer toward building digitally empowered LGUs that are not only efficient and responsive, but also gender-responsive, disability-inclusive, and accessible to all sectors of the community through inclusive and people-centered governance.

Pursuant to 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝟒, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, is declared a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

ALAM N’YO BA? | May MAIN Desks ang mga LGUs para labanan ang illegal recruitment at human trafficking!

Ang Migrant Advisory and Information Network (MAIN) Desks ay nagsisilbing frontline unit laban sa illegal recruitment at human trafficking sa mga komunidad.

Ilan sa mga responsibilidad nito ang mga sumusunod:
✅ pagdodokumento at paghawak ng mga kaso laban sa human traffickers at illegal recruiters
✅ pagsasagawa ng information campaigns sa mga paaralan at barangay
✅ pagtukoy at pag-report ng mga kahina-hinalang recruiter at job offers
✅ pakikipag-ugnayan sa PESO at social welfare offices para sa rehabilitasyon ng trafficking victims-survivors

Sa kasalukuyan, mahigit 600 LGUs na sa bansa ang may MAIN Desks. Patuloy na hinihikayat ng Department of the Interior and Local Government ang lahat ng LGUs na magtatag ng MAIN Desks alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9208 o ang Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003.

Huwag magpaloko sa illegal recruiters.
Sama-sama nating labanan ang human trafficking at siguraduhing ligtas ang bawat Pilipino sa paghahanap ng trabaho dito man o abroad.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) MIMAROPA successfully participated in the observance of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial 2026 held on May 21, 2026 at the Regional Office, 3rd Floor Conference Room, carrying this year’s theme, “Light the Legacy: Remember. Advance. Act. Keeping the Light Alive.” 🕯️

The activity served as a meaningful commemoration honoring the lives lost to AIDS, expressing solidarity with people living with HIV, and strengthening collective efforts toward awareness, compassion, inclusion, and the elimination of stigma and discrimination.

As candles were lit in remembrance and hope, participants reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining advocacy initiatives and promoting a healthier, more informed, and compassionate society for all.

Sa pamamagitan ng Ease of Doing Business Online Monitoring System (EODB-OMS) na binuo ng DILG, nababantayan ang maayos na pagpapatupad ng mga LGUs ng kanilang mga online transactions para sa mas mabilis at mas maayos na serbisyo publiko.

Kabilang sa mga online transactions ay ang:

✔️ Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS)
✔️ Building Permits and Certificates of Occupancy (BPCO)
✔️ Energy Regulatory Reform (ERR)
✔️ Information Sharing on Pawnshops (PSs)
✔️ Money Service Businesses (MSBs)
✔️ Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs)

Sa pamamagitan ng monitoring tool na ito, maiiwasan ang red tape at mas mapapabuti pa ang paglilingkod ng mga LGUs sa mga mamamayan.

San Lazaro Hospital will lead the observance together with representatives from different LGUs and offices on May 21, 2026 at the SKYDOME, San Lazaro Hospital as part of this meaningful annual commemoration that honors the lives lost to AIDS, supports people living with HIV, and strengthens the call for awareness, compassion, and continued action toward ending stigma and discrimination.

Together, we light a candle of remembrance and hope—carrying forward the legacy of those we have lost while reaffirming our commitment to a healthier, more informed, and more inclusive society.
