The RASL is one of the four research and extension laboratories of UP NSRI.

It provides research and extension services to graduate students, researchers, government agencies, private institutions, and individuals.

Please be advised that the RASL will have limited services on the following dates:

June 18 to 19, 2026 – RASL Annual Planning Workshop 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
June 26, 2026 – NSRI Annual Sports Fest Activity 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Due to these events, there will be temporary unavailability of on-site support and limitation of face-to-face assistance.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: UP NSRI-RASL Renews PRC CPD Provider Accreditation in Chemistry!

We are proud to announce the successful renewal of our accreditation as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider in Chemistry by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The Natural Sciences Research Institute – Research and Analytical Services Laboratory (NSRI-RASL) at UP Diliman has officially extended its status (Accreditation No. CHM-2017-006) with validity until August 12, 2029. This renewal reaffirms our long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality training, supporting Filipino chemists and allied professionals in maintaining professional excellence.

Stay tuned as we continue to roll out more training programs with accredited PRC CPD units!

Please be advised that starting April 6, 2026, the RASL will suspend walk-in services every Monday to support the Institute’s energy conservation initiatives.

While our physical office will be closed on Mondays, our office will be reachable via email to assist with your urgent concerns. Normal walk-in operations will resume every Tuesday to Friday.

We appreciate your cooperation.

The RASL will not be accepting samples for analytical services from March 30, 2026 - April 1, 2026 due to the upcoming holidays.

Acceptance of samples will resume on April 6, 2026.

Please be guided accordingly.
