As of 2:00 AM today, 04 June 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 06a) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a "MEDIUM" chance of development into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA

WATCH: Sped-up thermal camera footages of minor phreatomagmatic eruption at the Main Crater of Taal Volcano that occurred at 01:02 AM today, 04 June 2026. This event generated plumes that rose 900 meters above the crater as recorded by the Daang Kastila Observation Station (VTDK) and Main Crater Observation Station (VTMC) thermal and IP cameras. Alert Level 1 prevails over Taal Volcano.
