Earlier today, June 5, 2026, the CIA Bayanihan proudly attended the Advocacy Support Groups (ASG) and Stakeholders Forum held at the Pasig City Police Station Headquarters Conference Room, Brgy. Caniogan, Pasig City.

Initiated by Pasig Chief of Police PCOL HENDRIX B. MANGALDAN, the strategic meeting focused on the upcoming Balik-Eskwela Deployment (June 8–12, 2026) to ensure the safety, security, and orderly return of students to their classes this Monday.

The forum was led by key PNP Officers:

Yesterday, June 4, 2026, more than 85 dedicated officers and members of the CIA Bayanihan, Inc. Tacloban City and Leyte Chapters gathered at A.P. Bañez Memorial Elementary School for a productive day of community service and organizational planning.

Here is a summary of the successful activities conducted from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM:

🛠️ Brigada Eskwela 2026
Under the leadership of Principal Ma'am Verna O. Managa, J.D., and supervised by ARD Roman Pabello Jr., our members prepared the school for the upcoming classes. Activities included ceiling and wall repairs, as well as a clean-up and grass-cutting drive led by CD Artemio Roxas Jr. and Ronaldo Bernal.

👁️ Free Eye Spa Outreach Program
Through the generosity of Ma'am Catherine A. Cortes (Certified Neuropath Practitioner), over 35 members availed of free eye wellness and relaxation services.

🎒 Donation Drive for Boys Town
Our members showed the true spirit of bayanihan by donating school supplies, shoes, bags, and clothing for the children of Boys Town in Tagpuro, North Tacloban City.

⚖️ Free Legal Advice
Atty. Rony D. Meneses and Atty. Arvee A. Millar generously provided free legal consultations to empower our members and address their legal concerns.

💼 Regular Monthly Meeting & Key Highlights:
Following the outreach, the team converged to discuss future plans, including:

Awarding of Certificates: 28 members were recognized for completing the Traffic Management & Crowd Control Seminar.

Sangyaw Festival: RD Maria Shiela Meneses announced our upcoming participation in the Sangyaw Festival Float Parade!

The CIA Maybunga Chapter successfully took part in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Maybunga Elementary School last June 1–4, 2026.

This bayanihan effort was made possible through our strong collaboration with the CPS / SCADs, under the guidance and leadership of Officer-in-Charge and Chief of the Eastern Police District (EPD), Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig Jr.

The Department of Education (DepEd) Bicol officially launched the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Regional Kickoff at Labo Elementary School, signaling the start of the annual National Schools Maintenance Week.

Led by Regional Director Gilbert T. Sadsad, Assistant Regional Director Bebiano Sentillas, and local officials like Camarines Norte Governor Ricarte “Dong” Padilla, the event kicked off with a grand motorcade, a tree-planting activity, and immediate painting and repair works. The event also highlighted the PhilHealth and DOH YAKAP Program for school health and wellness, alongside a symbolic turnover of donations from various partners.

Standing proud in the spirit of Bayanihan, the CIA-Bayanihan Camarines Norte Chapter was fully present to support! Led by Provincial Director Marjorie Mariano, Labo Municipal Director Henry Madera, and Daet Municipal Director Judy Teves, CIA leaders and members joined forces with Convoy of Hope Philippines to help ensure our schools are safe, clean, and ready for our learners. 🤝🎒

Yesterday, June 2, 2026, the CIA Bayanihan Limay Chapter proudly joined forces with the faculty, parents, and volunteers for Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Saint Francis II Elementary School.

Starting at 9:00 AM, our team rolled up our sleeves to help prepare a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming environment for our students. True to our mission, we believe that education is a community effort, and through unity, we can build a brighter future for the youth of Limay.

Earlier today, June 3, 2026, the CIA family took part in the ongoing Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Salawag Elementary School in Brgy. Salawag, Dasmariñas, Cavite!

Our volunteers—Marilou Aniñon, Marilyn Regalario, and Lourdes Payno—led the cleaning and painting operations to help prep the school for the incoming students.

This successful activity was conducted in close coordination with the Dasma CCPS PNP PCR, supervised by OIC Chief PLT COL Mac Arthur Sumayop Mercader, and fully guided by CIA National President Emy Rafanan.

Yesterday, June 2, 2026, the CIA BAYANIHAN Madrid Chapter took to the Madrid Municipal Town Plaza for a special night-shift operation: the assembly of the new Mega Tent!

Led by ARD Domingo Sundy Plaza, our members worked hand-in-hand to ensure the successful installation of this massive structure. This initiative is a reflection of our deep-rooted partnership with our LGU, spearheaded by Hon. Mayor Paolo Lopez.

Soon, this space will host big outdoor events and serve the various needs of our fellow Madridnons. Thank you to all the hardworking members who showed up and showed out!
