SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY ANG ARAW NG MONTALBAN

Alinsunod sa Proclamation No. 1201 ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., idineklara ang Abril 27, 2026 (Lunes) na Special (Non-Working) Day sa Bayan ng Montalban bilang paggunita sa ika-155 na anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag nito.

Ang araw na ito ay sumasalamin sa mahalagang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan—pagkilala sa ating pinagmulan, pag-unlad, at pagkakakilanlan bilang isang bayan.

Kaugnay nito, suspendido ang operasyon ng mga tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Montalban; gayunpaman, mananatiling bukas ang mga tanggapan na nagbibigay ng serbisyong pangkalusugan, emergency response, disaster preparedness, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na paglilingkod sa publiko.

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and memorandum of Department of Transportation Secretary Giovanni Z. Lopez, and pursuant to the declaration of a State of National Energy Emergency, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announces the extension of validity for documents expiring beginning April 2026 for a period of three (3) months.

This measure aims to ease the burden of the public amid the rising costs of fuel and basic commodities, giving motorists sufficient time to comply without additional financial strain.

Covered by this directive are:
• Driver’s and Conductor’s Licenses
• Student-Driver’s Permits
• Motor Vehicle Registration

During the extended period, no surcharges, penalties, or fines will be imposed for late renewal.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) adopts a 4-day on-site and 1-day work-from-home arrangement as part of government energy conservation measures amid rising global oil prices.

Under Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-4999, all frontline services will remain open from Monday to Friday, transactions such as driver's licensing, motor vehicle registration, adjudication, and other public facing services will continue without disruption.

For non-client-facing units, a 4-day onsite work arrangement (Monday to Thursday) and work-from-home every Friday will be implemented.

Fake news ang isang video post sa social media na nagsasabing libre na ang pagkuha at pag-renew ng student license, non-pro at pro license sa LTO simula Abril 2, 2026. HINDI TOTOO ang ganitong pahayag at walang batayan sa mga opisyal na patakaran ng LTO.

Hindi po naglabas ng anumang pahayag ang Land Transportation Office tungkol sa pag-alis ng bayad para sa mga transaksyon ng lisensya. Ang lahat ng serbisyo na may kinalaman sa lisensya ay sumusunod sa mga batas at nangangailangan ng tamang bayad na nakalaan para suportahan ang mga operasyon ng LTO at mga programa para sa kaligtasan sa kalsada.

Hinihiling po namin sa ating mga kababayan na icheck sa mga opisyal na plataporma lamang tumingin ng impormasyon tungkol sa mga serbisyo ng gobyerno – maaari pong bisitahin ang opisyal na website, social media accounts, at mga tanggapan ng LTO.

Iwasan po nating ikalat ang mga hindi pa napapatunayang balita para hindi magdulot ng kalituhan. Maaari rin pong ireport ang mga maling impormasyon sa mga awtoridad.

Alinsunod sa Proclamation No. 1189 na nagdedeklara ng pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan) bilang isang Regular Holiday, ipinaaalam sa publiko na pansamantalang tigil operasyon ang mga tanggapan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) bukas, Biyernes, ika-20 Marso.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr ay isang mahalagang okasyon para sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim bilang pagtatapos ng banal na buwan ng Ramadan. Hinihikayat ang lahat na igalang at makiisa sa diwa ng kapayapaan, pagkakaisa, at pananampalataya.
