The Local Development Council (Municipal Development Council) of the Municipality of Rosario, Batangas successfully convened its 3rd Quarter Full Council Meeting on September 15, 2026 at the 4th Floor Conference Room, Municipal Annex I Building, Poblacion B, Rosario, Batangas.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Mayor Hon. Leovy K. Morpe and was attended by the members of the Municipal Development Council, including Municipal Administrator Dr. Josephine R. Altura, members of the Local Finance Committee, Civil Society Organization (CSO) representatives, and Punong Barangays together with their designated representatives.

Key agenda items included the approval of PPAs under the 20% Development Fund, the presentation of the status of findings and recommendations from the MPMC 2nd Quarter Field Monitoring Activity, and the presentation of the MPMC 3rd Quarter Field Monitoring Activity Report, along with other matters relevant to local governance and development.

The Council continues to strengthen collaboration among the Municipal Government, barangays, and partner stakeholders to ensure effective planning, responsible resource allocation, and proper monitoring of development programs and projects.

Through unity and shared responsibility, the Municipality of Rosario continues to advance responsive and accountable governance under its mantra, "Gobyernong Nagpupursige para sa Rosario โ€“ Mas Maigeโ€

The Municipal Government of Rosario, Batangas successfully conducted the Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) User Training, equipping Department Heads, officials, and employees with essential knowledge and skills on the proper use and application of digital signatures in government transactions.

The training provided participants with a deeper understanding of PNPKI, digital certificates, and secure electronic transactions, emphasizing the importance of adopting safe, efficient, and reliable digital processes in public service delivery.

We sincerely appreciate our resource speaker, Ms. Arla Mae Recio, Information Officer I of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), for sharing her knowledge, expertise, and guidance in promoting digital transformation and strengthening the security of government transactions.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the Municipal Government of Rosario to continuously improve its systems, embrace digital innovation, and provide efficient, secure, and responsive public service for the people of Rosario.

Department heads, officers-in-charge, and section/division chiefs of the Municipality of Rosario convened for the Monthly Executive Session and Action Forum on August 27, 2026, held at the Batangas Racing Circuit, Brgy. Maligaya, Rosario, Batangas, to discuss key updates, address emerging concerns, and align priority initiatives toward effective and responsive local governance.

The session was held under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Leovigildo K. Morpe, with the presence of Municipal Administrator Josephine R. Altura.

Key agenda items included the presentation of the proposal of ShapeTech I.T. Services, Budget Utilization as of August 2026, the presentation of the Draft Annual Budget for 2027 by the Budget Office, and Civil Service Month activities.
