The Local Government Unit of Sadanga has officially commenced the rice distribution to all eight (8) barangays under the โSadanga Bagong Pilipinas Food Security Rice Distributionโ initiative through the mandate of the Office of the President under the Local Government Support Fund โ Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF).
A total of 1,800 eligible households in the eight barangays of the municipality will benefit from this program, ensuring that every iSadanga household receives support through the governmentโs food security response โ even in the most remote barangays accessible only through foot trails.
The first wave of distribution was successfully conducted in Barangays Poblacion, Demang, and Sacasacan, followed by Barangays Bekigan, Belwang, Betwagan, and Saclit. Barangay Anabel is scheduled to receive its rice allocation in the coming working days.
