Please be guided by the following reminders to ensure a solemn, peaceful, and orderly observance of All Saints’ Day on November 1, 2026, in Sagada.

𝟏. 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒

- The Holy Mass will begin at 3:00 PM
- The gates will be closed once the Mass begins.
- Please refrain from taking pictures and keep your voices low during the Mass.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍

- The Echo Valley and Paytokan Walk Tour will be suspended starting at 4:00 PM.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒

- Tourists are advised to stay with their assigned guides and remain within the designated area along the road leading to the Calvary.
- Please keep pathways clear to ensure the orderly movement of people entering and exiting the cemetery.

𝟒. 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

- Please take your waste with you and dispose of it properly. Let us work together to keep the cemetery and its surroundings clean.

𝟓. 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐇𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒

- Hard liquor is strictly prohibited inside the cemetery.
- Jamming and loud musical activities are not allowed.

𝟔. 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐀𝐄𝐍𝐆

- Please do not light the saeng/fatwood until the priest has arrived and the prayer at the cemetery altar has been completed.
- The burning of plastics and tires is strictly prohibited.

𝟕. 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆

- Parking inside the church compound is limited. Visitors are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly.
- The gate will be open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or until the parking area reaches full capacity, whichever comes first. Once the parking area is full, the gate will be closed. Please also note that the gate will close once the Holy Mass begins.
- For guests joining tours, drop-off and pick-up shall be at the Paytokan Gate. Shuttle vehicles will not be allowed to enter the church compound unless they are entering for parking, subject to available spaces.

8. DRONE FLYING

- Drone operators are reminded to observe CAAP safety guidelines. Please refrain from flying drones over crowds or assemblies of people, in restricted areas, or in areas where emergency response operations are ongoing.

Let us work together to preserve the solemnity of this sacred occasion by showing respect, keeping our surroundings clean, and observing the guidelines.

The Municipality of Sagada, led by Mayor Felicito O. Dula, together with DILG-MP Cluster Head Maritess Cariño and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Ivy Rose Khayad, received two recognitions from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)–Cordillera Administrative Region on October 20, 2026, Baguio City.

Sagada was named Regional Exemplar in the Municipal Category at the 2026 Regional SubayBAYANI Awards and received a Highly Functional Rating, with an assessment score of 5.0, in the 2025 Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) Functionality Assessment.

These recognitions affirm the municipality’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of government projects.

𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘: 𝐎𝐏𝐀-𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐒

A total of 150 bags containing school supplies for various schools in Sagada were turned over today, October 14, 2026, by the staff of Assistant Secretary Antonio Tabora Jr. of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Cordillera Administrative Region (OPA-CAR) to support the educational needs of learners in the municipality.

The donations were received by Mr. Sixto Daluyen Jr., together with PS Romulo Dawilan and EA Eleuterio Lumiwes.

The initiative highlights the importance of inter-agency collaboration and shared commitment to supporting education and providing learners with essential school materials.

The Municipal Government of Sagada expresses its gratitude to Assistant Secretary Tabora Jr. and the OPA-CAR team for their generosity and support for the municipality’s learners.

In celebration of Elderly Filipino Week 2026, the Federation of Senior Citizens in Sagada conducted the Senior Citizens Officer for a Day (SCOFAD) 2026 today, October 12, 2026, giving participating senior citizens the opportunity to assume local government positions and take part in municipal governance.

Hon. Ciano S. Baldo served as SCOFAD Mayor, while Joey Taltala served as SCOFAD Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Bayan.

Joining them as committee chairs were:
• Mary Odlos – Appropriations, Ways and Means, Budget and Finance
• Teresa Bang-i – Labor and Employment, Livelihood and Cooperatives
