Teachers Learning Together, Transforming Learning for Every Child
Tamnao Elementary School successfully concluded its two-day School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) held on September 10β11, 2026, at Tamnao Elementary School, Camflora, San Andres, Quezon. Guided by the theme, βStrengthening Kβ6 Instruction Through Standards-Based Curriculum, Aligned Assessment, and Evidence-Based Pedagogy,β the activity reaffirmed the schoolβs commitment to continuous professional development and the improvement of teaching and learning.
The training strengthened the participantsβ knowledge and skills in creating safe and motivating learning environments, promoting child protection and positive discipline, supporting inclusive education, enhancing school safety and disaster preparedness, and ensuring learning continuity during emergencies. It also deepened their understanding of the revised Kβ6 curriculum, effective lesson planning and learning design, aligned assessment, foundational literacy and numeracy, and the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program.
Throughout the two-day activity, the teaching and non-teaching personnel actively participated in meaningful discussions, collaborative activities, contextualized planning, workshop sessions, and the presentation of outputs. These professional learning experiences provided opportunities for the participants to exchange insights, reflect on existing practices, and develop relevant strategies that respond to the diverse needs and learning contexts of every child.
The knowledge, skills, and strategies gained from the training are expected to help teachers provide instruction that is safer, more inclusive, responsive, and learner-centered. Through purposeful lesson planning, appropriate assessment practices, evidence-based teaching approaches, and targeted learning interventions, educators are better equipped to address learning gaps and support every learnerβs progress and development.
Tamnao Elementary School extends its sincere appreciation and recognition to Mary Joy C. Follero, EdD, Principal I, and Cheryll P. Par, Head Teacher III, for their steadfast leadership, guidance, and support in the successful implementation of the activity. Although they were unable to attend the training due to their official engagement at Palarong Quezon 2026, their leadership and commitment remained instrumental in ensuring the smooth and meaningful conduct of the School-Based INSET.
The school likewise expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Maβam Leonora T. Cuyos, MT-I, who led the participants throughout the training, and to the facilitators, organizing committees, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel for their cooperation, active participation, dedication, and valuable contributions throughout the activity. Their collective efforts made the two-day INSET a meaningful opportunity for professional learning, collaboration, reflection, and growth.
As educators continue to learn, reflect, and grow together, they become more empowered to improve learner outcomes and advance the delivery of inclusive and quality basic education. With supportive school leadership and empowered educators, every learner is given a greater opportunity to learn, succeed, and thrive. β€
