On 02 February 2026, the Commander, Naval Installation and Facilities–Zambales, CAPT RONY KEITH G MARQUEZ PN(GSC) spearheaded the turn-over and inauguration ceremony of newly acquired GPS trackers to the Motorpool Officer, ENS MABULAC PN and personnel of the NIF-Zam Transport Service Unit.
The installation of these GPS tracking devices marks a significant step in strengthening the safety, accountability, and real-time monitoring of Philippine Navy support vehicles of NIF-ZAMBALES. This initiative enhances fleet management capability and ensures more efficient and secure transport operations in support of the unit’s mission.
NIF-Zambales remains committed to modernizing its systems and advancing operational effectiveness through innovation and responsible asset management.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY from TEAM NIF-ZAMBALES
Team Naval Installation and Facilities–Zambales celebrated the Day of Love with a heartwarming surprise program and beautiful floral tributes dedicated to all the women of NIF-Zambales. The simple yet meaningful gesture was a token of appreciation for their dedication, strength, and invaluable contributions to the Installation.
The male officers and enlisted personnel added a special touch to the celebration by serenading the hardworking and inspiring women with heartfelt songs, filling the atmosphere with joy and camaraderie. It was a moment that highlighted not only unity within the ranks but also gratitude and respect.
Indeed, beneath the Philippine Navy’s courageous and disciplined exterior beats a heart of compassion, warmth, and deep appreciation for the people who make the mission possible.

Strengthening Discipline, Securing the Installation
On 22 January 2026, Naval Installation and Facilities–Zambales (NIF-Zambales), spearheaded by the Commander, NIF-Zambales, CAPT RONY KEITH G. MARQUEZ PN (GSC), formally conducted the Activation Ceremony of the NIF-Zambales Military Police Unit.
The activation of this unit marks a significant milestone in strengthening internal security and reinforcing military discipline within the camp. The NIF-Zambales Military Police will serve as the primary unit responsible for enforcing rules and regulations, maintaining peace and order, safeguarding personnel and properties, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability within the Installation.
In his message, CAPT MARQUEZ PN (GSC) emphasized that discipline is the foundation of operational readiness and organizational excellence. The establishment of the Military Police Unit reflects NIF-Zambales’ unwavering commitment to a secure, orderly, and mission-ready environment—aligned with the Philippine Navy’s thrust toward a more modern, multi-domain, and self-reliant force.

🚛⚓ Blessing of Newly Acquired Mobility Assets ⚓🚛
On 15 December 2025, NIF-Zambales, under the leadership of the Commander, Naval Installation Command, RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN, together with the Commander, NIF-Zambales, CDR RONY KEITH G MARQUEZ PN (GSC), conducted the blessing and commissioning of seven newly acquired mobility assets.
The newly added assets include a lorry truck for rewatering operations at NSLG and NOB, two multipurpose vehicles, two motorcycles, and a refrigerated closed van. These additional resources significantly enhance the unit’s operational mobility, logistics capability, and overall service delivery in support of mission requirements.
This milestone underscores the command’s continuing commitment to strengthening operational readiness and ensuring efficient support to all supported units.

ENSURING EXCELLENCE; Commander, Naval Installation Command Graces NIF-Zambales 6th Anniversary
The milestone celebration marked six years of dedicated service, growth, and commitment of NIF Zambales in providing vital support to naval operations in the organization. The event was attended by Officers, Enlisted Personnel, Civilian Human Resources, and distinguished guests. With RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN, Commander Naval Installation Command as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the 6th Founding Anniversary of Naval Installation and Facilities - Zambales, held on 15 December 2025 at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantiouqi.
In his message, RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN commended NIF Zambales for its significant accomplishments over the past year, particularly in the areas of operational readiness and mission success. He noted that the unit successfully carried out numerous operations, patrols, and support missions that directly contributed to the Philippine Navy’s strategic objectives and to the security of the country’s maritime domain.
The Commander also highlighted the unit’s efforts in capability enhancement, citing the acquisition and proper maintenance of essential equipment, the improvement of logistical systems, and the continuous training of personnel to ensure readiness in meeting operational requirements.
RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN further recognized the successful implementation of various infrastructure and facility improvement projects, including the renovation and repair of barracks and offices, as well as upgrades improvement in operational efficiency and optimized workplace functionality within the unit
Emphasizing the importance of human resources, RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN Commended NIF Zambales for prioritizing personnel welfare and morale. He acknowledged the unit’s initiatives that support the health, well-being, and professional development of its officers and enlisted personnel, such as career development seminars, training opportunities, welfare programs, and recreational activities.
Through collective effort and teamwork, RADM FLORANTE N GAGUA PN said that NIF Zambales has successfully moved forward and transformed challenges into achievements. He expressed his appreciation for the dedication, willingness, and enthusiasm of the unit’s personnel, noting that they consistently went beyond what was expected of them and exemplified the pride and excellence of the organization.
The activity concluded with a renewed sense of unity and purpose among the Officers, Enlisted personnel and Civilian Human Resource of NIF Zambales, as they reaffirmed their commitment to excellence in service, operational readiness, and mission accomplishment in support of the Philippine Navy and the nation.

💙 NSLG Medical Dispensary Health Care Fair 2025 💙
The Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui Medical Dispensary successfully conducted its 2025 Health Care Fair on 18 November 2025 at the NSLG Mess Hall, NIF-Zambales, San Antonio, Zambales.
With the theme, “Sustaining Readiness Through Healthy Lifestyle: A Strategic Pillar for a Mission-Ready Navy,” the activity delivered a wide range of essential health services to personnel and dependents. These included PHILHEALTH ID updating and issuance, HIV testing and counseling, mental health consultations, veterinary services (free anti-rabies vaccination and deworming), dental product distribution, urology consultation by CPT Tagra MC, Pap smear and diet counseling by San Marcelino District Hospital, and discounted laboratory services from Elyaga Medical Clinic and Laboratory.
Participants also benefited from wellness promotions and product samplings from our valued partners: Wert Philippines, Yakult, First Vita Plus, I-Fern Vitamins, Aesthetic Wellness, ASA Philippines, AFPSLAI, ACDI, PAFCPIC, and PNSLAI.
The 1305th Philippine Navy Dental Dispensary participated in the NIF-Zambales Healthcare Fair, conducting oral health awareness lectures on disease prevention and proper tooth-brushing techniques. Dental kits and educational materials were distributed to 100 personnel, students, and civilians, reinforcing the unit’s commitment to preventive dental care.
Further strengthening its commitment to public health, NSLGMD, in partnership with Victoriano Luna General Hospital – Department of Pathology and Laboratory, conducted a Bloodletting Activity on 27 November 2025 at Jurado Hall, generating 99 successful donors.
These initiatives underscore NSLGMD’s unwavering dedication to preventive healthcare, lifesaving programs, and sustaining operational readiness through a healthy and resilient community.
