West Dirita ES Embraces Digital Transformation with iASSESS for 4th Periodical Test

Marking a significant milestone in its commitment to digital literacy, West Dirita Elementary School (WDES) successfully conducted its 4th Periodical Tests for the school year using the iASSESS platform.

The transition to digital evaluation spanned three days of rigorous testing: March 12, March 18, and March 19. The initiative involved the entire student body, reaching learners from Grade 1 through Grade 6, ensuring that even the youngest pupils are becoming well-versed in modern educational tools.

By integrating iASSESS into the 4th Quarter examination period, the school aims to modernize the traditional testing environment.

The successful implementation across all grade levels reflects the collaborative effort between the WDES faculty, the ICT coordinator and the supportive parents who encouraged their children through this technological transition.

A Journey Inward: The Grade 6 Values Formation at West Dirita ES

The morning of March 11, 2026, carried an air of purpose at West Dirita Elementary School as the Grade 6 learners gathered for a pivotal milestone in their elementary journey: the Values Formation. Recognizing that character isn't just taught but "caught" through experience, the school transformed the traditional classroom setting into a dynamic arena for personal growth.

The day was far from a quiet lecture. From the outset, the school buzzed with energy as learners "got moving," diving headfirst into a series of interactive team-building challenges. These weren't merely games; they were lessons in disguise. Through collaborative hurdles and reflective group activities, the learners practiced the delicate balance of trust, the weight of responsibility, and the power of collective empathy. Each activity served as a mirror, allowing them to see their strengths and the areas where they could grow as future leaders.

Central to the day’s success was the presence of Mr. Jusua J. Amante. As the guest speaker, Mr. Amante brought a blend of wisdom and relatability that resonated deeply with the graduating class. His insights served as a compass for the learners, helping them navigate the complexities of integrity in an ever-changing world.

As the activity concluded, the West Dirita ES extended their sincerest gratitude to Mr. Amante for his dedication to youth empowerment. His presence reminded everyone that education is a communal effort.

West Dirita ES remains committed to its mission of holistic education, ensuring that every learner leaves its halls not only as a scholar but as a citizen of integrity.

Our young dreamers took a big step toward their future goals during Career Guidance 2026, last March 6.

Through inspiring talks and interactive activities, our learners explored various professions and discovered that no dream is too big when you have the right guidance and determination.

A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers, guest speakers, and parents for supporting our pupils as they begin to navigate their career paths.

Our hearts are full! Last February 27, West Dirita Elementary School celebrated Stakeholders Night as a highlight of our FEBgandahan sa Paaralan festivities.

Schools thrive when the community steps in, and seeing our local leaders, alumni, parents, and partners come together reminded us why we do what we do. This night wasn't just about a program; it was about honoring the people who help us build a brighter future for every WDES learner.
