๐Ÿš€ EMPOWERING ARBOs THROUGH BUSINESS AUTOMATION AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING | Barangay Ara-al Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Association of ARC Mangkas, Brgy. Ara-al, La Carlota City

As businesses continue to adapt to changing times, Business Automation can help organizations work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. By making better use of available information and digital technologies, ARBOs can improve their day-to-day operations and create greater opportunities for productivity and growth.

Through the shift from traditional manual processes to more organized and automated systems, the Barangay Ara-al Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Association can streamline its operations, improve work efficiency, reduce operating costs, and help its members accomplish their tasks more effectively.

The activity also emphasized the importance of Business Continuity Planning (BCP)โ€”preparing the organization to respond to unexpected challenges and disruptions. Having a continuity plan helps ensure that essential operations can continue, while strengthening the organizationโ€™s ability to adapt, recover, and move forward during difficult situations.

DTI-CARP remains committed to providing continued assistance and support to BAARBA as it works toward achieving its goals and building a stronger, more sustainable organization.

๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿค STRENGTHENING AGRIPRENEURIAL ORGANIZATION THROUGH EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR | Entorilan Agrarian Reform Cooperative (EARCo) | ARC San Miguel, Murcia, Negros Occidental

A strong cooperative starts with a strong foundation โ€” and this is what the Department of Trade and Industry โ€“ Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (DTI-CARP) Negros Occidental hopes to nurture through the Organizational Management Seminar conducted for the Entorilan Agrarian Reform Cooperative (EARCo).

The seminar focused on what lies at the heart of every successful cooperative: knowing their roles, working together, and learning how to better manage the organization while facing challenges along the way.

The learning journey was made richer through the support of resource persons from the Department of Agrarian Reform Negros Occidental North โ€“ Program Beneficiaries Development Division, Social Infrastructure Building (SIB) Section, Ms. Marilyn P. Altea and Ms. Joenina D. Dela Cruz, with the assistance of Mr. Niel Jason Baliguas.

Also sharing their support were Ms. Ma. Fe P. Flores of Enterprise Development and Economic Services (EDES) and Mr. Noel T. Ricablanca Jr. of DARMO Murcia.

For the EARCo members, the activity was more than just another training. It was an opportunity to refresh what they already know, learn something new, and reflect on how each member can contribute to the cooperativeโ€™s growth. As they say, โ€œPadayon ang learning para sa pag-uswag sang kooperatiba.โ€ (Continue Learning for the growth and development of the cooperative.)

Indeed, learning continues as DTI Negosyo Centers โ€“ Province and Murcia, represented by Mr. John Ronan Serfino and Ms. Shekailyn Jean Michao, also conducted a Basic Entrepreneurship Seminar and shared information on DTI Programs and Services that can help EARCo and its members further develop their entrepreneurial initiatives.

Through the continued partnership of DTI and DAR, we look forward to seeing EARCo growโ€”not only as an organization, but as a stronger, more confident, and more capable agripreneurial community. ๐ŸŒฑ

Padayon sa pagtuon. Padayon sa pag-uswag. Padayon, EARCo! ๐Ÿ’š

In line with the celebration of MSME Month, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Negros Occidental North, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Negros Occidental โ€“ Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), facilitated a 3-day Skills Training on Bamboo Crafts Making.

The Hiyang-hiyang Malasaga Agrarian Reform Cooperative (HMARCo), based in ARC Katilingban, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, participated in the activity as a beneficiary of the Village Level Farm-Focused Enterprise Development (VLFED) Project. VLFED is a DAR community-based enterprise development program that supports Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and their organizations (ARBOs) in establishing sustainable, income-generating agri-enterprises at the village level.

The training enhanced the membersโ€™ skills in bamboo craft production in preparation for the upcoming establishment of their VLFED project.

DTI reaffirms its full support for this initiative by ensuring continuous technical assistance, capacity-building interventions, and market linkage opportunities to help the cooperative achieve a sustainable and competitive enterprise.
