DOLE–La Union Convenes Best PESO Committee for Provincial Award Deliberation

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)–La Union Field Office convenes members of the Best Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Committee on April 27 at Mabanag Hall, San Fernando City, La Union, for the deliberation of entries to the Provincial Level Search for Best PESO Award.
The committee evaluates, screens, and recommends qualified entries from the province for endorsement to the regional selection.
The Search for Best PESO Award is an annual recognition initiative of DOLE that aims to highlight exemplary performance among PESOs nationwide.
It assesses PESOs based on their effectiveness in implementing employment facilitation programs, including job matching, labor market information dissemination, and the delivery of local and overseas employment assistance services.
The search also promotes continuous improvement and innovation among PESOs in bringing employment services closer to communities, particularly at the grassroots level.
