City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Schools Division Office of Pampanga marks a significant milestone today as it convenes its First Division Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting under the leadership of the newly installed Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Leonardo C. Canlas, EdD, CESO VI, at the Eastgate City Convention Center, San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The gathering brings together district supervisors, education program supervisors, school heads, and key division officials to discuss priority programs, align strategic directions, address emerging concerns, and strengthen collaboration in pursuit of quality, responsive, and learner-centered education service delivery across the division.

As the first ManCom meeting under his stewardship, Dr. Canlas' presence and leadership set an inspiring tone for the division's renewed journey toward excellence. In his inspirational message, he encouraged all education leaders to embrace unity, innovation, accountability, and service as they work together to advance the goals of the Department of Education and ensure better outcomes for every Kapampangan learner.

Dr. Canlas emphasized the importance of collective leadership, teamwork, and shared responsibility in achieving the division's aspirations, reminding everyone that meaningful progress is attained when all stakeholders move forward with one vision and purpose.

NEU National and Region III Officers Visit SDO Pampanga

October 27, 2026 | SDO Pampanga

The Schools Division of Pampanga welcomed the officers of the DepEd National Employees’ Union (NEU), led by National President Atty. Domingo B. Alidon and Region III President Mr. Edward Bonn F. Manuel, during their unannounced visit today.

They were welcomed by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Leonardo C. Canlas, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Mikael Sandino T. Andrey, Administrative Officer V and Acting SDO Pampanga NEU President JB B. Manalang, together with other Division officials and personnel.

The visit was part of the monitoring of the ongoing ratification of the 2025 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA).

Thank you to our NEU National and Regional officers for taking the time to visit SDO Pampanga and personally check on the progress of the ratification.

Inilabas ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ngayong araw ang DepEd Memorandum No. 064, s. 2026 o ang " Anticipatory Action, Preparedness, and Protective Measures for the 2026-2027 Super El Niño".

Laman ng bagong memorandum ang mga maagang hakbang na naglalayong panatilihing ligtas ang kapaligiran ng mga paaralan, pangalagaan ang kalusugan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o, at tiyaking hindi matitigil ang pag-aaral habang nararanasan ang tagtuyot.
