The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office 01 (PSA-RSSO 01), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Balaoan, is bringing frontline government services directly to the residents of Barangay Nagsabaran Sur through its PSA Caravan and Social Responsibility today, 02 June 2026.

Residents are availing themselves of Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) and National ID services, while learning about PSA’s statistical products and programs through information dissemination activities.

Through initiatives like this, PSA-RSSO 01 continues to make government services faster, closer, more accessible, responsive, and people-centered, ensuring that communities have greater access to civil registration, national identification, and official statistics services.

Ang Community-Based Monitoring System ( ) ay nagbibigay ng household-level data na tumutulong sa local government units (LGUs) at National Government Agencies (NGAs) na magplano nang mas maayos para sa bawat pamilya at barangay.

Dahil sa CBMS, mas nakikita ang tunay na kalagayan ng bawat komunidad, kaya mas maayos ang programa at serbisyong naabot ng lahat. 🏘️💙

The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office 01 (PSA-RSSO 01) teamed up with the National Housing Authority (NHA) in bringing the civil registration services closer to the people through the 2026 People’s Caravan. The caravan which was themed, “Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-asa” was held on 19 May 2026 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center. The CRS mobile team served 147 clients and 205 documents during the event.

Strengthening its commitment to bring civil registration services closer to the people, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the Municipality of Bangui formally signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) and the Batch Request Entry System (BREQS) on 26 May 2026, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte. The MOA signing highlights the shared commitment of the PSA and the Local Government Unit of Bangui in ensuring accessible, inclusive, and people-centered public service.

The 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗣𝗦𝗔) 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 proudly announces the successful completion of the turnover of the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐂𝐁𝐌𝐒) 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝟑𝟒 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐬 (𝐋𝐆𝐔𝐬) 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞, achieving a 100 percent turnover rate as of 26 May 2026.

This milestone highlights the strong collaboration among the PSA, local government units, field personnel, and other stakeholders in ensuring the timely processing and delivery of CBMS-generated data for local governance and development planning. The turnover of the 2024 CBMS data provides LGUs with updated and comprehensive community-level statistics that can support evidence-based decision-making, policy formulation, program implementation, and monitoring of socioeconomic conditions within their respective localities.

The generated statistical tables cover key demographic, social, and economic indicators, including population characteristics, education, labor and employment, housing conditions, access to basic services, public safety, financial inclusion, and other development-related concerns. These official outputs generated by the PSA are intended to serve as baseline references for LGUs in identifying priority sectors and addressing local development needs. At the same time, LGUs are encouraged to further explore and maximize the use of the 2024 CBMS data in crafting targeted interventions and responsive programs for their constituents.

With the completion of the turnover process, LGUs in Ilocos Sur are now better equipped to integrate updated local statistics into development planning, poverty reduction strategies, disaster risk reduction initiatives, and other programs geared toward improving the welfare of communities across the province.
