RED TIDE UPDATE: The shellfish samples collected from the coastal waters of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Zambales are FREE OF THE TOXIC RED TIDE. All types of shellfish gathered from these areas are safe for human consumption.

Below is the latest Shellfish Bulletin released by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Central Office for the information of the general public. Please be guided accordingly.

Kaisa ang DA-BFAR sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 o 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐌𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 na may temang “Karapatan sa Karagatan, Sama-sama Nating Alagaan.”

Patuloy ang BFAR sa pagsusulong ng responsableng pangangalaga at pamamahala sa ating yamang-dagat, pagpapanatili ng masaganang pangisdaan, at pagprotekta sa kabuhayan at kapakanan ng mga pamayanang umaasa sa karagatan.

Ngayong 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢, ating binibigyang-pugay ang mga bayaning nakaukit sa kasaysayan. Kasabay nito, kinikilala rin natin ang mga Pilipinong mangingisda na araw-araw na nagsisikap para sa ating bayan.

Bago pa sumikat ang araw, tumatawid na sila sa alon. Sa bawat paghagis ng lambat, paglalayag, at pag-uwi dala ang kanilang huli, bitbit nila ang pag-asa para sa kanilang pamilya at pagkain para sa bawat Pilipino.

Sila ang mga Mangingisdang Bayani: tahimik na nagsisikap, matatag sa gitna ng hamon, at patuloy na nag-aambag sa seguridad sa pagkain at kabuhayan ng bansa.

This FishCon Week, let’s use creativity to tell stories that inspire people to protect our fisheries and aquatic resources. 🎥🐠

Show us your passion for fish conservation and sustainable fisheries management through an engaging 90–120-second reel!

Magkakaibang ekosistema ang lusay, korales, at bakawan, ngunit magkakaugnay ang kanilang ambag sa ating karagatan at mga pamayanan.

Nagbibigay ang mga ito ng mahahalagang tirahan para sa iba’t ibang isda at likas-yamang katubigan. Pinagmumulan ng kabuhayan ng mga baybaying-komunidad, tumutulong sa proteksyon ng mga pamayanan, at nag-aambag sa pangmatagalang seguridad sa pagkain.

Ngayong 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟔𝟑 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤, mula Setyembre 14 hanggang 18, 2026, binibigyang-diin ng DA-BFAR ang pangangalaga at responsableng pamamahala sa mahahalagang coastal at marine ecosystems sa ilalim ng temang:
