Proving that victory over illegal drugs relies on a Whole-of-Nation approach, the milestone event drew heavy presence and full support from strategic line agencies and civic partners. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the local government were representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Philippine Army, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

๐๐๐๐ | This Office, under the leadership of ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ, actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) together with the personnel of La Union Police Provincial Office (LUPPO), National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA RO 1) and other Offices at the Camp Diego Silang, Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union.
During the activity, all personnel performed the prescribed โDuck, Cover, and Holdโ procedure upon the simulated occurrence of an earthquake. Participants demonstrated proper response actions by immediately taking cover under sturdy desks and tables, protecting their heads and necks, and remaining in position until the simulated shaking ceased, brought fire extinguishers, and first aide kits. The exercise also emphasized the importance of maintaining composure, situational awareness, and adherence to established emergency protocols during this kind of natural calamity.
The conduct of the drill was successfully carried out with the active participation and cooperation of all personnel. The activity enhanced the officeโs readiness and capability to respond effectively during actual earthquake emergencies and reinforced the importance of disaster risk reduction and management. No untoward incidents were recorded during the conduct of the activity. The exercise concluded successfully, achieving its objective of strengthening earthquake preparedness among personnel.

Nicky A. Oller, Interim Chairman of the Board; Hon. Servillano C. Flores, Jr., Interim President and Chief Executive Officer; along with Dir. Joel G. Caringal, Board Director and Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, and Dir. Abraham M. Mendoza, Board Director and Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Oversight Committee.
The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore potential avenues for collaboration, including initiatives that would further strengthen inter-agency coordination, support operational requirements, and advance public service delivery. The productive dialogue underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to promote security, development, and the welfare of the communities they serve.
As a gesture of gratitude and goodwill, Director Paderes presented a token of appreciation to PPMC officials in recognition of their warm reception and continued support. PDEA IlocoscNorte- Today, June 16, 2026, at around 10:00 A.M onwards IA V Lanibelle A Posadas, Provincial Officer with Barangay Drug Clearing Officer, and PECI Officer conducted an On-site Validation to the sixteen (16) barangays of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte held at the People's Center of the said municipality.
The activity aimed to assess and validate the compliance and functionality of barangays in implementing anti-illegal drug programs, particularly in support of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program. BADAC members from the sixteen (16) barangays participated and presented their respective documents and accomplishments for evaluation. During the validation, the team carefully reviewed the submitted reports, conducted interviews, and verified the existing initiatives of each barangay to ensure alignment with the standards set for drug-cleared and drug-free status.
Technical assistance and recommendations were also provided to address identified gaps and to further strengthen the barangaysโ anti-drug efforts.
Likewise, a Drug Abuse Prevention and Education (DAPE) Lecture was conducted to the participating barangays, aiming to strengthen awareness on the harmful effects of illegal drugs and emphasize the importance of sustaining community-based anti-drug programs. The activity encouraged continued support and active participation in achieving and maintaining drug-cleared and drug-free barangays.

PDEA Pangasinan Conducts IDADAIT 2026 Drug Awareness Lecture at Binmaley School of Fisheries
In line with the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, the PDEA Pangasinan Provincial Office, led by IA V Dexter B. Asayco, Provincial Officer, conducted a Drug Abuse Prevention Education (DAPE) Lecture on June 11, 2026, at the Binmaley School of Fisheries, Binmaley, Pangasinan.
During the activity, Provincial Officer Asayco discussed the salient features of Republic Act No. 9165, while IA III Darnel L. Bacate, Assistant Provincial Officer, presented the current national drug situation. The lecture was attended by Grade 11 and Grade 12 students, teachers, and community stakeholders.
The activity was initiated by the PADAC Secretariat headed by Atty. Kandace Lorraine Palagud, in coordination with the MADAC of Binmaley led by Ms. Renaida Beltran, with the support of Barangay San Isidro Norte officials and School Principal Teody Delos Santos.
Through this initiative, PDEA continues to strengthen drug awareness and prevention efforts among the youth, promoting a healthy, safe, and drug-free community.
