The Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Fernando, La Union, together with City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto and City Vice Mayor Pablo C. Ortega, presented City Resolution No. 26-470 to the bereaved family of the late Hon. Geraldine โDennyโ R. Ortega during her necrological services held at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center in Barangay Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union, on September 23, 2026.
The resolution, sponsored by Hon. Rodolfo M. Abat and supported by all members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, expressed the deepest sympathy and sincere condolences of the City Council to the bereaved family and recognized Hon. Denny Ortegaโs years of dedicated public service and contributions to the City of San Fernando and the Province of La Union.
Hon. Denny Ortega served as Punong Barangay of Barangay Canaoay, Ex-Officio City Councilor, President of the Liga ng mga Barangay, La Union Chapter, Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng La Union, and Vice President of the Liga ng mga Barangay of the City of San Fernando.
The formal presentation of the City Resolution served as the City Governmentโs recognition of Hon. Denny Ortegaโs contributions to local governance, civic involvement, and community service.
The resolution was presented by City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, City Vice Mayor Pablo C. Ortega, and the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod to the bereaved family.
