The regular meeting of the city’s Barangay Secretaries was held on March 24, 2025, in Barangay Calulut, in coordination with the DILG City of San Fernando Field Office.

The meeting covered key programs and initiatives of the DILG, including the performance ratings of 35 barangays in the 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA), the implementation of the Barangay Road Clearing Operations (BaRCO), and the Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program.

Top-performing barangays in the LTIA City-Level Assessment were also recognized, with Barangay Maimpis leading after garnering high marks based on the given criteria.

CLGOO Allan Don Malonzo also led the awarding of barangays with timely and compliant submission of reports to the DILG for the first quarter of the year. Barangays with "Excellent" and "Outstanding" ratings in report submissions were given recognition.

Barangay secretaries serve as custodians of records and documents in their respective barangays and play a vital role in achieving good governance performance ratings during DILG audits and assessments at the barangay level.
