Continuous learning, growth, and service excellence at the City Civil Registrar’s Office. 📚✨

The City Civil Registrar’s Office recently conducted its Internal Learning Session for the first batch of employees, spearheaded by City Civil Registrar Mr. Rimando E. Umali, as part of the office’s continuing commitment to professional growth and quality public service.

Among the topics discussed were workplace development, employee engagement, and “Shaping the Future of Employees in the Workplace,” encouraging employees to continuously improve, adapt, and align themselves with the standards and direction of the Local Government Unit of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Part 2 of the session was conducted during office downtime and focused on the office’s ISO and Quality Management System, discussed by Patrick Gerald A. Mendoza, Registration Officer. The discussion emphasized efficiency, accountability, consistency, and maintaining high standards in serving the public.

This initiative of Mr. Umali reflects his dedication to investing in people, strengthening teamwork, and ensuring that every member of the office remains aligned with the mission and service goals of the City Government. More batches of learners and employees are expected to undergo the same series of internal meetings and discussions in the coming days.

As an added value learning experience, the office OJTs was also given the opportunity to sit in and listen to the discussions, Mr. Umali generously took time to share practical workplace insights, professional values, and lessons in public service beyond the usual classroom setting.

On April 29, 2026, at the OFW Hospital, the City Civil Registrar’s Office (CCRO) conducted a Coaching and Mentorship Session focused on strengthening the proper documentation of Civil Registry Documents (CRDs).

The initiative reinforced the importance of precise, complete, and timely records in protecting legal identity and ensuring efficient public service.

This partnership enhances service accessibility and streamlines coordination, bringing vital registration services closer to the people.

Aligned with the directive of Mayor Vilma B. Caluag, the activity underscores the City’s commitment to inclusivity and efficient delivery of social services through continuous capacity-building and collaboration.

Please be advised that April 9, 2026, is a regular holiday throughout the Philippines in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan, which commemorates the 84th anniversary of the Bataan Death March.

This commemoration honors the valor and heroism of Filipino soldiers—including a number of Fernandinos—who defended the nation against Japanese forces during World War II.

In line with this, City Government offices and annexes will be closed on the said date, except for offices involved in vital functions such as health, emergency services, and DRRM.
