WHO launches a year-long global campaign for World No To***co Day 2021 - “Commit to Quit." The new WHO Quit Challenge on WhatsApp and publication “More than 100 reasons to quit to***co" are being released today to mark the start of the campaign.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to millions of to***co users saying they want to quit. The campaign will support at least 100 million people as they try to give up to***co through communities of quitters.

“Commit to Quit” will help create healthier environments that are conducive to quitting to***co by advocating for strong to***co cessation policies; increasing access to cessation services; raising awareness of to***co industry tactics, and empowering to***co users to make successful quit attempts through “quit & win” initiatives.

Earlier today, the To***co Control Coordinators from the different DOH Centers for Health Development had an orientation/ clarificatory meeting regarding Brief To***co Intervention (BTI). We do hope that the agreements during this meeting would be fundamental in pushing for a smoke-free Philippines!
