A high-profile fugitive ranked as the top 4 most wanted persons in the province was apprehended by joint law enforcement units in Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija on Tuesday afternoon, ( June 2).

At around 1:45 PM, a joint operation led by the Agoo Municipal Police Station (MPS), together with PIU and PIDMU-LUPPO, 1st and 2nd LUPMFCs, Cabanatuan City Police Station-Nueva Ecija PPO, RID-PRO1, RIU-1, and TSC-RMFB1, successfully arrested the 61-year-old suspect in Kapitan Pepe Subdivision, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The widow suspect was arrested by virtue of multiple outstanding warrants with no recommended bail for illegal recruitment, constituting economic sabotage (syndicated) and syndicated Estafa.

The warrants were issued between January and February 2026 for the eight ( 8 ) criminal cases filed against her. The accused is currently under the custody of the Agoo MPS for proper disposition and documentation. # # #

Through the immediate activation of border seal-offs under the Enhanced A.L.E.R.T.O. framework, the La Union Police, led by the 2nd La Union PMFC, successfully recaptured an escaped Person Under Police Custody (PUPC) during a swift dragnet operation in Barangay Lloren, Tubao, La Union, early Friday afternoon, May 29.

​Police Colonel Redentor C Ulsano, Provincial Director of LUPPO said, the 26-year-old fugitive, is a resident of Barangay Kias, Baguio City, and had escaped from the City of San Fernando Police Station custodial facility at around 9:08 AM earlier today. The escape occurred while police were processing his fingerprint specimens prior to his commitment to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

​The suspect was originally arrested on May 26, 2026, in San Fernando City for alleged illegal drug activities after being caught with three grams of suspected shabu.

​Following a well-coordinated tactical pursuit, 2nd LUPMFC personnel intercepted the fleeing suspect at approximately 12:26 PM, at the established Tubao Border Control Checkpoint, concluding the manhunt in just over three hours.

​The operation's rapid success underscores the LUPPO's intensified implementation of its "Seal off Plan," aligned with the Enhanced Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement through Responsive and Transformative Organization (A.L.E.R.T.O.) Framework of PBGen Jovencio S Badua Jr., ARD, PRO1.

​The recaptured escapee is currently back in police custody, and documentation is underway for proper legal disposition. # # #

The La Union PPO's intensified operation against Most Wanted Persons scored in Bauang, La Union, after the arrest of a suspect listed as the Top 4 most wanted person (MWP) at the regional level this morning of May 15, 2026.

The combined personnel of Bauang MPS (lead unit) and La Union Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Unit (LUPIDMU) collared the 19-year-old suspect at around 10:50 AM in Barangay Bucayab in Bauang town, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) for the crime of statutory r**e under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by RA 1168, with no bail recommended.

The suspect is now under the custody of Bauang MPS, awaiting his commitment order to BJMP. # # #

A top 3 regional most wanted person was arrested in Brgy. Bucayab, Bauang, La Union at around 12:32 PM on May 14, 2026.

The accused was identified as a 23-year-old unemployed man and a resident of the said barangay.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Statutory R**e under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 11648. The court recommended no bail for his temporary liberty.

The manhunt operation was jointly conducted by personnel of the Bauang Police Station, serving as the lead unit, together with the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Unit of the La Union Police Provincial Office.

The accused is now under the custody of the Bauang Police Station while awaiting a court order for his transfer to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. # # #

The La Union PPO's relentless campaign against illegal drugs scored in Tubao, La Union, after the arrest of four (4) suspects listed as street-level individuals (SLI) in the illegal drug trade in Barangay Sta. Teresa, Tubao, La Union on Tuesday afternoon (May 12).

Police Colonel Redentor C. Ulsano, Provincial Director of LUPPO, said the joint operation stemmed from a validated report and was acted upon by the operatives, where they confiscated more or less 4.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price (SDP) of P30,600.00.

The arrested suspects were identified as a 28-year-old male from Upper Irisan, a 38-year-old female from Brgy. Pinget, a 29-year-old male construction worker from Green Valley, all in Baguio City, and a 38-year-old male farmer from Naguilian, La Union.

The operation became successful with the joint efforts of personnel from Tubao MPS as the lead unit, RID-PRO1, RDEU-1, PIU-LUPPO, LUPDEU, LUPIDMU, 2nd LUPMFC, PDEA LUPPO, and PDEA RO1.

The inventory and marking of the evidence were conducted immediately at the scene. It was done in the presence of mandatory witnesses as required by law to ensure the integrity of the chain of custody.

The suspects are currently in the custody of the Tubao MPS and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. # # #

The La Union Police Provincial Office (LUPPO), in a joint law enforcement operation, arrested a High Value Target (HVT) during the implementation of a search warrant operation in Brgy. Santiago Sur, Caba, La Union on April 20, 2026.

The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately one (1) gram of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of Php 6,800.00 and assorted fi****ms and ammunition.

The suspect was identified as male, 42 years old, married, jobless, a resident of said place and listed as a High Value Target in the PDEA watchlist.

The successful operation was a result of combined efforts of Caba MPS as the lead unit, PDEA La Union, LUPIU, and the 2nd LUPMFC.

The suspect is currently in police custody and face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Republic Act 10591 for illegal possession of fi****ms and ammunition.
