Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - Program Health, Education/Environment, Livelihood Program, and Strengthening Linkages/Sports (HELPS), joined the San Agustin (Poro) Elementary School for the official kick-off of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 on June 1, 2026.

PPMC officially turned over construction materials dedicated for the renovation of the ceiling of a classroom affected by Typhoon "Emong." This ensures that the students of the San Agustin (Poro) Elementary School are provided with a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment.

PPMC, guided by its commitment to sustainable community development, goes beyond the borders of the Freeport Zone by supporting and investing in the education and well-being of students in its neighboring communities.

Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC) attended the blessing ceremony of the newest addition to the Polaris Top Marine Services Corporation (PTMSC) fleet on May 28, 2026. Joining its royal family—Motor Tugboat (MTUG) Polaris King, MTUG Polaris Queen, and MTUG Polaris Prince—the MTUG Polaris Princess is the fourth vessel of PTMSC.

The blessing ceremony marked a significant milestone to PTMSC, underscoring its continued commitment in strengthening tug and towage operations in SFIS and dedication in its mission to deliver world-class marine services.

PPMC remains committed in supporting initiatives that are essential for harbor efficiency and contributes to the growth in the maritime sector while highlighting strong partnerships across the industry.

On May 28, 2026, Poro Point Management Corporation (PPMC), headed by PPMC Chairman Hon. Nicky A. Oller and President and CEO Hon. Servillano C. Flores, Jr., welcomed newly appointed Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Chairman Atty. Jerry R. Marasigan during his official site visit to the Poro Point Freeport Zone. Philippine Navy officials from the Northern Luzon Naval Command and Naval Installation and Facilities – Northern Luzon joined in expressing their full support.

As part of the visit, Chairman Marasigan conducted an ocular inspection of the several key areas and strategic facilities within the Zone which include the San Fernando International Seaport, San Fernando Airport, and the former Voice of America (VOA) area. The tour provided an opportunity to assess ongoing developments and discuss future plans aimed at advancing the development and improvement of the Zone to maximize its potential for trade, tourism and investment.

Guided by its vision to be the leading economic driver in the North, PPMC, together with the BCDA, continues to pursue strategic initiatives that unlock opportunities for regional growth.

Fresh brews, warm connections, and new beginnings as The Coffee Library (TCL) opened in SM City La Union on May 22, 2026.

The grand opening was attended by distinguished guests led by La Union Governor Hon. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega; Poro Point Management Corporation President & CEO Hon. Servillano C. Flores, Jr.; Rosario, La Union Councilor Hon. Florante Zarate; and Rosario, La Union Vice Mayor Hon. Red Flores, who joined the celebration in support of the province’s growing business and tourism sector.

The blessing ceremony was officiated by Fr. Raul Panay, marking the beginning of another welcoming space where people can gather, connect, and create memories over coffee.

The meeting served as an opportunity to reconnect and strengthen partnerships, as Atty. Ontog previously served as a Director of PPMC. His continued dedication to public service and leadership in government remains a source of pride for the PPMC community.

The courtesy visit also underscored the value of collaboration among government agencies in advancing initiatives that promote growth, public service, and regional development.
