Today! October 30, 2025: On-going Technical Briefing on Good Quality Copra Production and Processing at ADSECCCO, Brgy. 5, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. This activity aims to educate the farmers, agricultural extension workers, and stakeholders from the different municipalities in the province with the existing threat of MOSH and MOAH contamination on coconut oil. The said activity is headed by PCA-XIII and ATI-XIII.

A total of 572 good quality coconut seedlings—comprising 286 hybrid and 286 dwarf varieties—were successfully planted across 4 hectares of land in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

This activity was conducted as part of the nationwide coconut planting initiative aligned with the national goal of planting 100 million coconut trees.

This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both government and local stakeholders to revitalize the coconut industry and ensure sustainable agricultural development in the region.

A 2 day training on Oil Palm Production and Management has successfully conducted to 31 oil palm growers of San francisco. The training was conducted and facilitated by Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) with the collaboration of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Provincial Research Development & Innovation Office (PRDIO) and NGPI that was held at NGPI Bldg., Brgy. 5, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur on September 9 and 10, 2025.
