Onwards ADS II

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Agusan del Sur 2nd District Engineering Office (ADS 2nd DEO) conducted a contractors' meeting on April 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Office’s Function Hall.

The discussion focused on accomplishment targets and approaches to optimize resource utilization to expedite project implementation, highlighting the significance of timely completion, quality workmanship, and teamwork for sustained growth.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Agusan del Sur 2nd District Engineering Office (ADS 2ND DEO) reactivated its Lakbay Alalay Program for Holy Week 2026 on April 1. Operating round-the-clock until April 4, the program aims to ensure safe and efficient travel during the Holy Week rush. Services include road information and emergency assistance for motorists.

For the ADS 2nd DEO, two (2) motorist assistance centers are put up - at Rotunda, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur and Cuevas, Trento, Agusan del Sur.

The Lakbay Alalay program highlights DPWH’s commitment to road safety and public service.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

In response to the imminent need for safe pedestrian passage apropos the volume of traffic, the substantially completed pedestrian overpass along NRJ San Francisco-Bahi-Barobo, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, will be opened in March 2026.

Please be advised that remaining construction works will continue. Safety devices are installed within the vicinity of the construction site.

The public's cooperation and understanding are vital to ensure everyone's safety.

As cascaded by the Central Office, The DPWH Agusan del Sur 2nd District Engineering Office adopts the INTERIM FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENT (FWA) effective March 9, 2026 for all officials and employees in support of energy conservation measures amid global fuel market developments.

This is pursuant to the Office of the President (OP) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 114 (s. 2026), and in line with the Advisory of the Inter-Agency Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee (IAEECC) on the strict observance of GEMP Guideline.
