The International Innovation and Design in Library and Information Science Competition 2023 (InDeLib2023) stands as a pivotal milestone in the realm of library and information science. Centered around the theme "Mapping the Library of Tomorrow through Innovation," this year's competition underscored the imperative for libraries to adapt and innovate in a digital transformation era. Serving as a catalyst for transformative change, InDeLib2023 inspires professionals and researchers to explore imaginative solutions to the evolving challenges faced by libraries.
InDeLib2023 recognizes and values the industry's rich legacy, emphasizing that each innovation contributes to the continual evolution of libraries and information science. InDeLib2023 was attended by different participants across the globe to address contemporary challenges with inventive and forward-thinking approaches.

Congratulations, scholars!
Twenty (21) Pisay Ilocos scholars raked medals in the 2023 Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad-Heat Round conducted on October 22, 2023.
As winners, they will be competing in the Final Round (schedule to be announced).
The Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is an annual international Olympiad competition jointly organized by the Hong Kong and Thailand Mathematics Society. According to its website, TIMO is a platform to stimulate and foster young peopleโs interest in learning mathematics, to strengthen the ability of their creative thinking, to widen their international perspective, and to promote the development of primary and secondary education and exchange of educational cultures throughout countries/ regions.
For this year, TIMO committee members invited 14 regions/countries such as Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia to participate.

The International Model United Nations (IMUN) Philippines 2023 is a simulation of the policy-making process of the United Nations that aims to immerse participants in global issues and international relations and develop skills in communication, collaboration, diplomacy, critical thinking, decision-making, and research.
This yearโs conference was held at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Pasig City, and was attended by high school, college, and young professional participants from different countries including the United States of America, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, and South Korea.

PSHS-IRC showcased its excellence in the 2023 Galileo International Astronomy Olympiad (GIAO) by securing 16 GOLD, 7 SILVER, and 8 BRONZE awards. Mr. Gregory C. Maranan stood out as he secured the highest score in the competition.
This prestigious online competition, organized by the non-profit Organizing Center for STEM Olympiad (OCSO), attracted participants from 12 countries worldwide, including Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, El Salvador, Indonesia, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
