As Brigada Eskwela 2025 came to a close, Lawigan National High School proudly wrapped up a week filled with dedication, volunteerism, and the spirit of bayanihan. The closing program, held at the school's Multi-Purpose Gym on June 13 2025, brought together partners and stakeholders who have tirelessly worked hand in hand to prepare a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for the coming school year.

With this year’s theme, "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” our shared efforts aimed not only to restore and beautify the school, but to uplift every Filipino learner through improved access to quality education and literacy.

The last day of Brigada Eskwela was a continuation of these meaningful efforts, marked by strong community support from various sectors including:

Together, we celebrated not only what we accomplished in terms of school readiness, but also the relationships and sense of unity we have strengthened throughout the process. The closing event featured messages of appreciation, testimonies, and performances that highlighted the value of collaboration in nurturing a reading nation.💛

Truly, when a community comes together, nothing is impossible. Thank you to everyone who took part in this successful Brigada Eskwela. Sama-sama, para sa bawat batang nangangarap at nagbabasa!📚✨

Despite the weather conditions, Lawigan National High School volunteers didn’t hesitate to be present for Brigada Eskwela Day 3.

The bayanihan spirit remained alive as students, teachers, parents and stakeholders continued to work hand in hand, ensuring that the school environment was clean and ready for the opening of classes.

We were honored by the presence of the volunteers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO); their presence meant a lot to our school community.

The time and effort given truly made a difference—reflecting the shared commitment to school and community. Thank you, Brigada Heroes, as we continue working together for a cleaner and safer learning environment!

Project “𝑩𝑨𝑺𝑨, 𝑻𝑼𝑫𝑳𝑶 𝑵𝑼𝑴𝑬𝑹𝑶” is an initiative activity of SSLG anchored to 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐃𝐀: 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐀, a reading activity before the class starts.

The spirit of unity and volunteerism continued to shine through as we went over Day 2. The school became a brighter place for learning. The students, teachers, and volunteers joined hand in hand.

Teachers conducted Brigada Pagbasa, one of the highlight activities of the week. The program aims to enhance the learner’s numeracy and literacy journey.

It also served the purpose of cleaning and beautifying. Through the cooperation and collaboration of our internal and external stakeholders, we create a safe learning environment. Thank you to all who participated and supported this initiative! Together, let’s look forward to the days ahead as another school year begins!

BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF CEREMONY 2025

In the spirit of unity and service, Lawigan National High School proudly launched Brigada Eskwela 2025 with a vibrant and heartfelt Kick-off Caravan on June 9, 2025.

This year’s theme, "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa", beautifully reflects our shared commitment to nurturing a nation of readers through collaboration, compassion, and community involvement.

The event was a resounding success, made possible by the unwavering camaraderie and collective effort of our devoted stakeholders and community partners—whose presence serves as a testament to their lasting support for quality education.

It’s Brigada Eskwela time again—where walis meets willpower, paint meets purpose, spirit of bayanihan upholds and hearts come together para sa iisang layunin: ihanda ang paaralan para sa ligtas, malinis at maayos na pagbabalik-eskwela at sa mga batang patuloy na nananabik magbasa at matuto.

Ito ay hindi lamang school cleanup drive—this is a campaign. A campaign that says 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, and 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀. Sama-sama nating buuin ang isang ligtas, maaliwalas, at makabuluhang learning environment. Dahil sa Brigada, bawat tulong—maliit man o malaki—may ambag sa kinabukasan ng bawat kabataan.

Makiisa sa School-Based Brigada Eskwela Kick-off Ceremony na magsisimula ngayong Hunyo 9 sa pamamagitan ng isang caravan, 7:00 nang umaga. 💫

Tara at sama-sama nating paghandaan ang paparating na bagong taong-panuruan sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan! Makiisa, makisaya, maki-Brigada! 💪🤩
