As directed by Hon. Florida P. Robes, City Mayor and Chairperson of the Local Development Council (LDC), the Council successfully convened its 1st General Assembly/Meeting on April 23, 2026. The activity was organized and initiated by Ms. Regina S. Delos Reyes, City Planning and Development Coordinator (CPDC) and Head of the LDC Secretariat.
The meeting was highly productive, with Ms. Delos Reyes presenting the Cityโs development programs and projects, highlighting past accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future plans. This was followed by Ms. Melanie N. Villano, Assistant City Planning and Development Coordinator, who presented the main agendaโfocusing on the approval of the proposed Annual Investment Program (AIP) for 2027, including the Supplemental Investment Program for 2026.
Prior to the conclusion of the meeting, Hon. Florida P. Robes delivered her message, emphasizing key priorities and addressing important matters concerning the City.
A total of 75 out of 85 members attended the assembly, including Hon. Benjamin Acibal, Jr., Chairperson of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation; Hon. Zosimo Lorenzo, ABC President; other Honorable Punong Barangays; and representatives from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs). The event also welcomed several distinguished guests, including Mr. Benedict Pangan, LGOO VI from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG); Ms. Hanah C. Figueroa, Audit Team Leader from the Commission on Audit; members of the Local Finance Committee (LFC); as well as selected department heads and representatives from the education sector.

The City Government of San Jose del Monte, through its City Planning and Development Coordinator Ms. Regina S. delos Reyes and her staff, hosted the Monthly Meeting of the League of Local Planning and Development Coordinators of the Philippines, Inc. (LLPDCPI) โ Bulacan Chapter, held at the Public Hearing Room, 4th Floor New Government Center, Dulong Bayan, this City.
Relevant knowledge and information, as well as experiences and best practices are being shared during its regular monthly meeting which is also one way of enhancing their capability and promoting the camaraderie among the 24 planning and development coordinators within the province.
This time, the meeting focused on the presentation of the CSJDM Best Practices and other relevant agenda. Ms. Delos Reyes presented the past and present landscape of the City of San Jose del Monte (CSJDM), followed by the results of the 2026 Public Perception Survey. The meeting was attended by 19 City and Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators from across the Province of Bulacan, with the participation of Engr. Randy Po, OIC-Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator and some of his staff.
Also present was Mr. Juan Miguel Perez-San Pedro, Chief of Staff, who welcomed all members of the LLPDCPI on behalf of the City Mayor. In his message, he commended the local planners โ specially the CPDC of CSJDMโfor her unwavering dedication and commitment to public service, which have significantly contributed to the cityโs development initiatives.

๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ | City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), through its Project Development Division, participated in an ๐ผ๐ฐ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป along the MWSS Aqueduct Right-of-Way, covering areas from Barangay San Manuel to Barangay Minuyan Proper.
The activity was conducted in coordination with representatives from the Congressional Lone District of San Jose del Monte, the Office of the City Mayor, the City Engineering Office, the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Maynilad Water Services, Inc., and Manila Water Company, Inc. The CPDO was represented by Ar. Richmond Jasper Inamarga, Architect II, and Wilter Vienne Ronquillo, Administrative Aide.
The ocular inspection aimed to assess the feasibility of converting fourteen (14) identified open spaces along the ๐ ๐ช๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ฎ๐พ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ผ ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐. It focused on evaluating existing site conditions, accessibility, safety considerations, and potential constraints, as well as aligning with the future plans of the involved agencies. Findings from the inspection will be consolidated and used as a basis for further evaluation and project development planning.

๐๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐, ๐๐๐๐ | The City Planning and Development Coordinator (CPDC), Ms. Regina S. Delos Reyes, together with EnP. Jemima D. Dumdum, attended a coordination meeting with City Administrator Atty. Rizaldy L. Mendoza, representing the City Mayor. Also present were Atty. Jigg Lynnard B. Pagente, City Assessor Mr. Mario Lorenzo; City Tourism Officer; Mr. Roberto Ramirez; Engr. Claire Garduce-Francisco, City Engineer; and representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd), including the Principal of Kakawate National High School.
The meeting primarily focused on the ongoing land development of the proposed Tourist Rest Area, which is strategically located adjacent to Kakawate Elementary School and Kakawate National High School in Barangay Paradise III, City of San Jose del Monte.
Furthermore, key issues and concerns pertaining to the Land Exchange Agreement were thoroughly discussed, during which the CPDC provided necessary clarifications and technical inputs to guide the land exchange process.

Guided by the Honorable City Mayor, Florida P. Robes, all project implementers were reminded to remain united and work collaboratively toward the betterment of the City.
The activity was attended by the esteemed members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Atty. Rizaldy L. The forum featured resource speakers from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), with Mr. Ludwig O. Daza presenting on Economic Zone Development and Investment Opportunities, and Ms. Leonila C. Daza presenting the rationale and objectives of the activity.
The initiative aimed to equip property and landowners with essential knowledge on the processes, requirements, and opportunities in establishing economic zone, while promoting collaboration for sustainable economic growth.

The meeting was initiated by the City Government of San Jose del Monte through the opening remarks and overview of Chief of Staff Mr. Juan Miguel Perez San Pedro. This was followed by the presentation of the project proposal by Mr. Magana to the representatives of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and the concerned city departments.
Heads and representatives from the Office of Congressman Arturo B. Robes and other concerned offices and agencies were also in attendance, including the Office of the City Legal Service, the City Engineering Office, and Maynilad.
The presentation was followed by an open forum, during which participating agencies and stakeholders shared their concerns, insights, recommendations, and guidance to help advance the projectโs development and eventual implementation.
