The STARBOOKS Orientation was successfully conducted on April 8, 2026 at the Library Extension, led by Michael Carlo Canlas Mariano from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
The activity aimed to introduce participants to STARBOOKS, the countryโs first digital science library, which provides access to a wide range of science and technology resources even without internet connectivity. The orientation highlighted the platformโs features and its importance in supporting research and academic learning.
The event was attended by Ms. Rachel Ann Casido, Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs, who expressed support for initiatives that strengthen access to educational resources and promote innovation within the institution.
The successful conduct of the orientation reflects the institutionโs continued commitment to enhancing learning through technology and information accessibility.
